    > Kuminga’s night ended after that and he was forced to watch the Warriors give up the lead down the stretch.

    > “I really didn’t have much to say about that,” Kuminga said. “The rest of the guys were playing good, we had a lead, everybody was happy.

    > “There was no explanation. I was just on the bench cheering, just like another teammate. Hyped because we were in it. I really don’t know. I didn’t see it coming at all, especially the way I was playing.”

We feel helpless reading this paragraph too JK

JK blink your eyes if they are holding you hostage! /jk

  3. >“Since I’ve been here, we don’t have just five guys that we know that they’re supposed to be on the floor whenever it’s closing time.”

This is the first year we haven’t had a known/consistent closing lineup.

Kuminga locked Aaron Gordon down, gets subbed out, and Gordon begins to pop off…

A middle school coach could’ve figured out how to fix that.

  5. hellahomebody

JK doesn’t even need to say anything anymore because everyone knows Kerr fucked up. Just got to take the high road at this point and either wait to be traded to his own team or till the off-season when the FO lets Kerr walk

  6. Kuroyukito

The culture is that only the vets matter even if they are playing bad.

  7. Hugh_MyronBrah

Steve Kerr masterclass on a roll. hot on the heels of his stellar FIBA coaching job

  8. Altruistic-Twist-379

Stop sucking on the vets and play the ones that are doing good shit.

  9. Guacamol3Jon3s

At what point is this not about Steve Kerr and his horrible rotations over the last two years. Don’t get me wrong… The players play the game, but Anthony Lamb and Ty Jerome played 20+minutes a game last year because “they gave the team the best chance to win?” This year we watched Kerr bench Moody down the stretch of a game after he literally took the previous quarter over. Then he benches JK in the fourth after 16 pts 4 assists 4 rebounds and great defense in 18m. The kid had an efficiency rating of 40.26 for the game, which was second only to jokers 46.56…

HOW CAN THEY STEP UP IF YOU DON’T PLAY THEM STEVE?

  10. I actually think Kerr’s doing it delibertly for Dray’s return, imaging Kuminga keeping having these nights where he drops 20+ with high efficency and good ball movement while also the best 1on1 defense no way Dray would be starting over him when he came back

  11. nerdalerd

Welp this isn’t good, **at all**. Whatever your opinion of how things have gone this season is, it is not good when you have multiple players “making moves” in the press, and in JK’s case, twice in a month. The Dubs run a really, really tight ship. Look at how everyone responded to the Draymond/JP video leaking. Unless something drastic occurs I think this is the end of the line for both JK and Moody.

Curry and Kuminga for Bouknight and Terry Rozier, Hornets get to win 4 in a row while this downbad franchise whove gone to 6 finals in 8 years learn the taste of poverty mediocrity again 🙏🙏🙏 really want this sub to make daily seethe threads with screenshots of dumbass takes saying steph was the problem after steph wins his 5th,6th,7th, and 8th ring on the hornets while having kuminga and lamelo develop into the best duo the nba has ever seen…. 🙏🙏 PLEASE let this happen man this sub and “fanbase” do not deserve any success theyve gotten for the past decade for the shit they give their stars…

  13. RemarkableBag9576

He sounds miserable. Get this kid the fuck out of the bay, he deserves so much better than Kerr’s bullshit favoritism that doesn’t even lead to victories.

  14. MrGoodKarma_

“Decreasing my minutes before Draymond gets back so it’s not weird because he’s washed…”

  15. moody when kuminga joins him on the bench after playing well and not seeing the court for the rest of the game

  16. Apart-Volume9340

Moody is permanently glued to the bench now, you can see it during the game he doesn’t want to be here anymore. Even his reaction to our team hitting big 3s is lifeless.

  17. CrispyCapybara

I’m ready to see this kid coached by someone else. It’ll hurt like hell to lose him, but it hurts more watching him underutilized and undervalued.

  18. psyducksblues

I hope I’m proven wrong but I can’t see this season doing a magical 180. It feels like Kerr is set in his ways. This goes back a few seasons now. It’s damn frustrating because on paper I like our group a lot, especially the young guys. But where other coaches would’ve long since elevated JK/Moody, Kerr has done nothing but stifle and provide baffling responses during interviews, all the while privileging older guys who haven’t earned their minutes this year and letting the team and fanbase down. This is the culture we have and it starts from the top

  19. NutKickerGreen

Translation: “Steve Kerr doesn’t know what the fuck he wants besides playing horribly undersized lineups even in the Olympics”

  20. That sounds like someone that’s losing hope. I feel so bad for him and Moody.

  21. Dar8_Vader

Kerr and his love for vets is getting out of hand. The validity of the Jordan smack has expired after decades. He needs one tbh just so he can channel his inner self and reflect on it for a bit. We have 3 year vets stitching the old and trash lineup together with their energy and athleticism and the reward is bench. I wanna see Moody and Kuminga play for 30 mins a night.

  22. introvertedguy13

More JK minutes please. I don’t know what Kerr is thinking. Kuminga is part of the reason why we built a lead.

  23. Good luck resigning him. He cannot wait to be a FA. Steve has poisoned the water.

  24. HoshiShukun

    Minor correction: ” … It’s a Kerr thing.”

  25. TigersToenailFungus

    It’s a culture thing.

    Lmao shots fired.

That’s a nice back handed diss to Kerr and the vets.

Guess JK is gonna get traded.

I’m totally with JK on this one BTW. He was dominating and should’ve been in there to close the game.

  26. Onlyheretostare

Light years ahead… Even after blowing the lead we should’ve won the game. Our last 3 possessions were so hard to watch and Kerr’s game management is atrocious

  27. Successful-Wasabi704

LMAO at the campaign here to fire Kerr and dismantle the dynasty because Kuminga didn’t close. At the rate he was going last night Kuminga would’ve had 32pts in 8 quarters if we let him just play. Hindsight is always 20/20. They’re just outside .500 and falling shy of some really close games. You’d think this is consecutive loss #29. Warriors will adapt, survive and be competitive. You doomers on the other hand so confident you can coach an NBA team wearing crocs and sitting in your boxer shorts though? Not a chance.

  28. I really feel like Gordon and jk would have finished with similar lines last night had kuminga stayed in but that’s all up to imagination now since we were deprived of that chance to see

  29. geezeeduzit

This kid…for English being a second language, he’s certainly learned the art of decorum. I can’t imagine how frustrated he is. If it were me I’d be like “hey man, idk why I came out of the game – why don’t you go ask the coach and after that maybe you could break it down for me cuz I can’t make heads or tails of it. I play bad I get pulled, I play great I get pulled. What did I do to this guy, fuck his wife?”…something like that. Then I’d have my agent march up to MDJs office and say either play me or trade me

  30. dearzackster69

This is a wild quote. I would say unlikely he signs with the Warriors. If the “culture” includes not playing me there’s no way I sign an extension.

So they ought to trade him, they will regret it but right or wrong, and I think he’s right, he’s diagnosed the issue as a difference at the cultural level and those kinds of conflicts can’t be resolved with money.
