Known Raptors TRADE Target is DONE With Golden State…

A massive report just dropped from Shams the athletic that indicates young Rising player Jonathan kaminga is frustrated with this situation in Golden State he’s done playing for head coach Steve Kerr and it indicates a trade could be on its way so we’re going to dive into all on

That in this vid including his teammate Moses Moody also being frustrated with everything going on in Golden State and the Raptors being linked to this team and potential trade rumors a lot over the past year even dating back to the year Jonathan kaminga was drafted you know his interest in those players so

We’re going to talk about all of that discuss what type of deal could potentially make sense if the Raptors were looking to still make some shakeups after that big OG an anobi trade and I’m stating it here before we talk about anything else I do not want to trade

Away Pascal cakam for a package that is just centered around Jonathan kaminga this is not what this video is going to be about because even though some people are still in the hive of trade Pascal you know the money doesn’t really make sense in keeping RJ quickly Scotty

Barnes is Big contract coming up purle under contract with that that big deal right there’s a lot of spending that has to be made on this Toronto Raptor team if we keep Pascal sakam I don’t care I would be very very frustrated if we make a package that is just centered around

Jonathan kaminga who again has a lot of potential in this NBA but is not a guy that has shown any guaranteed steps that he even can become close to the player of Pascal cakam so I’m writing that off here at the beginning of this video before we talk about any reports also

Over 55% of our viewers are not subscribed to the channel so mean the to me if you guys could hit that sub button if you’re enjoying the daily Toronto Raptors coverage but let’s dive into this report that went down from Shams the athletic basically saying that after

Sitting the final 18 minutes of the Nuggets loss yesterday Warriors forward Jonathan kaminga has lost faith in Steve Kerr and no longer believes that Kerr will allow him to reach his full potential so he is frustrated and this is something that has come out in bits and pieces minor minor reports from

Golden State Warriors beat reporters the heck even from the mainstream guys about Jonathan kaminga not being too happy with the situation in Golden State specifically coming off the bench and things along those lines but hey starting off this season you know especially with Draymond Green maybe not

Starting off but when he took that swing at use of nurkic kaminga has been given a much bigger role for this Golden State Warriors team so a lot of people point to hey maybe they are transitioning to a kaminga letting him get unlocked playing around Steph Curry more so in that

Starting lineup things could work out for kaminga those frustrations might dissipate but but clearly from this report this has not been the case and it’s not just kaminga either as both as well as Moses Moody’s Camp is frustrated with his role on Golden State people around Moses are frustrated with the

Lack of a role and consistency so there’s something going on here with golden state and this offseason obviously they traded Away Jordan pool to acquire Chris Paul because you know they’re preaching of the two timelines sort of approach old guys and young guys especially with Jordan pool following

That punch from Draymond Green was not really meshing that well there was two camps between the two groups and the younger players weren’t really fulfilling their potential even though Jordan PA was given that Max contract he wasn’t really living up to the sort of money he was making there at least on

Golden State and then also guys like Moody like kaminga like uh James wisman before he end up getting dealt from the Detroit pist to the Detroit Pistons in that weird deal none of those guys really took the leap to really help that Golden State Warriors team take that

Jump so then they acquired Chris Paul and now more Young guys are frustrated on this team because you know they’re not getting the rules they’re not getting the opportunities they feel like they’re not getting put into the right positions in order to Blossom with their current group around Steve Kerr so what

Does this have to do with the Toronto Raptors the Golden State Warriors again they’re just a team these are a couple role players for this squad why should we care well if anyone’s been keeping up to date with any I know a lot of people have tuned out the Toronto Raptors over

The past couple years given how you know midlevel this team has been but the rumor mill is circulated that Raptors were trying to trade for uh Jonathan kaming got multiple points stating back to the old Pascal rumors and the trade deadline back or the NBA Draft when they

Ended up getting drafted but basically we didn’t even look to a a report last February the Raptors wanted a package uh for OG and anobi built around uh the Raptors wanted a package from the Golden State Warriors for OG anobi built around Jonathan kaminga and this is coming from

Hoop site and this was talked about from Shams and these types of guys so you know kaminga has been a target of uh the Toronto Raptors for a long time now seeing him get frustrated seeing him be a player that is willing likely to get traded given this report coming out from

Not just a regular beat report but from Shams indicates a deal could actually potentially go down now especially uh following the OG and anobi trade and Pascal seum rumors really exploding now after the Raptor’s most recent two wins those seem to have died off just a

Little bit because we know MSU Jerry is evaluating this team sure the Raptors lose some more games those rumors will start to percolate once more but basically basically Jonathan kaminga was a guy people were saying hey let’s send cakam to Golden State and get back kaminga Moody and these types of guys

With some draft picks and it fits sort of the asking price we’ve been hearing from uh MSU Jerry in terms of what he wants back two usable rotation pieces along with draft picks and Moody kaminga and draft picks seems to be something that could fit those lines even though

You’d want some it’s not an AEM manual quickly nor an RJ Barrett sort of package that we got for OG but personally I want something better I want a brighter prize a bigger trophy if we’re dealing away Pascal cakam than a kaminga and a moody even though I think

Both of those players do have some potential but let’s dive deeper into what these players actually are so obviously Raptor fans probably aren’t watching too many Golden State games this year but kaminga is averaging 13 points per game four rebounds 1.4 assists his three point percentage is

Still not the greatest at 28% but he’s effective around the rim he’s very athletic 68 and only 21 years old so a lot of of potential to potentially Blossom you know whatever team he potenti he ends up going to so you he could be an interesting piece definitely

A guy that I would be very happy if the Raptors acquired but for the right price and if you look at his shooting splits because that’s the biggest concern I know it’s one of the bigger concerns for Raptors fans right now after requiring RJ Barrett keeping yaka perto on this

Team and how bad we have been from shooting the basketball again kaminga is not a guy it’s an elite three-point shooter only 26% of his attempts are from behind the three-point line he’s only making 28% of them you know has shot it at a better rate in previous

Seasons but again not at the highest of volumes but he is a guy that is very solid shooting from the corners right he’s a guy you know 41% from the corner last season 35% this year but the thing about it is a lot of his shots especially this season are not coming

From the corners and this is something that kind of fits in him not getting his maximized potential kaminga unlikely to be a guy that is you know taking that leap as a guy that comes into the league and becomes an elite jump shooter I don’t project that a lot from Jonathan

Kaminga now some people may have said that from Scotty Barnes he’s now close to a 40% three-point shooter on a very high rate so you know done something to completely write off but kaminga like Pascal cakam is better apt to sort of hit those set spot up shots to where

He’s not Ben Simmons where you can leave him out there on an island but he’s not a guy that you want creating his own three-point shot and stuff and those from the numbers as we just saw he’s getting less Corner threes less shots assisted upon you know those are the

Shots he’s getting more so this SE season so he’s not getting put in the right position maybe the Toronto Raptors if they get him in the right spots especially now with Emanuel quickly RJ barar more creators on this team it could definitely work and obviously

Scotty Barnes who we know is able to hit some open Shooters kaminga could get unlocked in terms of his jump shooting he’s an elite athlete he can finish around the basket and when he’s locked in you know talking to Golden State Warriors fans they seem to regard him as

A pretty solid Defender so kaminga is a piece that I would be intrigued in getting but at what price not Pascal cakam one name that I’ve seen you know I threw it out there on Twitter got a response I should start shouting out people on uh getting back on the Twitter

Game as I mentioned in the video earlier uh the dopamine hits are are coming back from when I was younger Raptor die just started off as a Twitter page or x.com page I guess now it would be called so uh getting back to our roots with that

Here now at this point trying to get Scotty bar some more votes drummed up but basically when we uh made a post regarding this kaminga news someone reacted saying Gary Trent JR could be an interesting centerpiece but while I think that could be cool I don’t know if

That’s the perfect fit in terms of a trade for one Golden State they have some interesting pieces right now obviously they have Kerr as Steph Curry they have Klay Thompson they have Chris Paul sort of at that guard position who needs the ball in their hands they have

A young sort of rookie that has the ball in his hands lock and space the floor feels similar to what Gary Trent Jr would provide and Gary’s not been the most valuable piece Off the Bench of the torona Raptor the SE so I don’t know what his trade value could actually net

You now if kinga’s trade value does plummet given the fact that he’s requesting a trade and his frustration and things like that maybe we could get kaminga back to the tonal Raptors but again in theory Gary Tren Jr probably fits this team a little bit better even

Though we lost some forward depth giving away ogan anobi for two guards Gary Trent Jr provides floor spacing now if Grady dick his workout plan in the G League ends up working out well and he’s knocking down his threes in two weeks from now he’s sort of ready to go bounce

Back in the NBA then maybe that could step Grady dick could step in for the floor spacing kaminga could be there at the backup four to sort of you know be a spark plug off the bench for one of our bigs that could be an interesting return

For Gary Trent Jr package and then you you can also factor in Moses Moody if you want it you know make a multi-team or multiplayer deal or something like that again Moody is a guy less intrigued by then a Jonathan kaminga just off the physical attributes he’s still a player

That has hit some three-point shots over the course of his career but uh you know 36% from last year from behind the the three-point line but is not getting utilized in the right way there with golden state similar stuff can be said about Moses Moody just looking at the

Stats here the corner threes are similar percentage he’s hitting them at a lot lesser rate though you know in terms of percentages even though he’s shooting more so you know maybe either of these guys again extremely young have potential shooting the basketball are both solid athletes Moody is a player

That I’ve seen Golden State Warriors fans call a very solid Defender and underrated Defender so maybe either of these players could be interesting pieces if they are frustrated again the Toronto Raptors have been apparently in the rumors and the sort of report Mills with the Golden State Warriors about

Potential trades in the past so we’ll see if something could actually go down but I’m pretty adamant I don’t want to see Pascal cakam ended up getting traded for a package such as this but maybe a Gary deal maybe one of these weird packages could potentially work out

Maybe if the value ex plummets all the way to the ground we can’t I was about to say Malachi Flynn some random deal like that but I don’t even know who we have on the Deep bench now who’ll get thrown out of trade rumors but let me

Know what you guys think throw your trade packages in the comments section down below but you guys the best I’m signing out cheers

A major report just dropped from Shams of the Athletic revealed that Jonathan Kuminga has grown frustrated playing under Steve Kerr, and a trade could potentially be on its way. Given previous reports where the Raptors have been linked to Kuminga, Ben Rogers breaks down the possibility of making a deal with Golden State.

  1. It's actually crazy Wiggins is getting more minutes than kuminga. Personally I'd rather send siakam to the pistons for a package around duren

  2. There’s no universe where the warriors trade Kuminga for a package headlined by GTJ. They will have 10 better offers than that.

  3. Jonathan and Moses Moody they would work on the Craptors he's a good defender and it works out for Golden State Warriors for Pascal siakam to go there I'm sick of him watching him play plus he doesn't move the needle why you think they lost to the Detroit Pistons real stars wouldn't let that happen he's time is up and the time is now

  4. Why? Don’t care how frustrated they are… Unless we trade Barrett… this is a pointless trade… let’s pause and evaluate… we already traded for good players at these spots… no need to trade pascal rn… we need better bench players rn… front court is good

  5. A trade with GSW seems like a last option. Kuminga's shooting is down. Moody too. You do this trade only if you know Pascal isn't signing an extension and it's 2:59 pm on Feb 8. 😂

    This works.

    GSW:
    Kuminga
    Moody
    Looney
    Payton II
    Podziemski
    Joseph

    TO:
    Siakam

I don't want any part of Wiggins' toxic contract.

  6. GTJs gotta go… plus Boucher (as much as I love him as a player)… both not coming back next season- only trades left for now- bet on it

  7. Something interesting about both Moody and Kuminga is they both shoot over 40% (42 for Moody, 50 for Kuminga) on 3s from the left corner, and Moody shoots 50% from the left wing and 38% from near the top (For reference, this season Siakam is shooting 46% from the left corner and 42% from the right corner). However, they are both extremely inefficient shooting on the right side of the 3pt line, hitting in the 20s and teens. This is on low efficiency, however, as most of their shots come from near the basket where they shoot in the mid 60s. Last season, the disparity between shooting from the right and left for both of them was less significant, though, so this is probably just something with the Warriors system, but it is still an interesting stat. Both players shot above 36% from deep last season as a whole. I bring this up because 3 point shooting is always nice to have, as it diversifies the offense. Is their spotty shooting a positive or a deal breaker?
Also, the main thing to look at with Kuminga is his defense, which is praised by teammates and media. He's almost an OG-style of player at 6'7" 225 (same physical stats as Barnes at Combine). This can bring up questions of fit, as the Raptors can place him into the same role as OG, but that might just bring back problems regarding usage, also like with OG.
If we are to build a trade package around Siakam, we have to consider that they are decently similar offensively. This season, both are hitting their corner threes, but failing to hit them from the wing and key. Siakam is the better midrange guy and gets his buckets in the post, while Kuminga gets his baskets almost exclusively from barely a foot out, and does not shoot the mid range j. I think the Raptors FO passes on this trade and keeps Siakam. A GTJ-based trade seems better for the Raptors, as it brings in better defense off the bench now that Achiuwa is gone, though I doubt the Warriors would agree to this unless Masai (and other trade partners) leverage Kuminga's dissatisfaction with Kerr.

  8. Can't trade Pascal without getting a PF/C back that is a good starter. Id prefer to keep Pascal and try to make some minor deals for a backup mobile center. Koloko would be perfect 🙁

  9. It’s not that we WANT to trade Siakam. It’s that we might HAVE to. Hopefully a bidding war opens up and drives the price up.

    Kuminga, Moody, +?

  10. This trade scenario is unreal gsw don’t have enough to offer for our pascal siakam. If we trade pascal the players raptors should receive should be young and skillful (now ) rather than later . Oh and we barely use Chris boucher so we shouldn’t waste his contract time or skill

  11. I have a package that can give us a young guy I say we throw in Jakob and like garret temple for Jalen Duren

  12. Kuminga has looked great in GS. I’d take him as a younger/cheaper Siakim alternative asap. Give him starter minutes and I believe he’ll blossom. Someone is about to get a steal, I just hope it’s TOR.

And if we look at shooting percentages Siakim shoots a similar percentage from 3 as Kuminga.

  13. Warriors need good inside the paint player…Lebron has proven this against the Warriors. Siakam has that ability imo. Favorable trade but I side with Kerr…

  14. GSW also has 2 trade exceptions: 1.3M and 2.3M. They'll probably use it to help match Siakam's 37.9M salary.

  15. I could definitely see a package of draymond green + Jonathan kuminga + moody + picks for siakim. I can definitely see that happening!!!

  16. Everyone needs to stop talking about this. Masai does NOT want Kuminga, and rightfully so. The only GSW trade that would hapoen for Siakam is a package of BOTH Podziemski & Jackson-Davis

  17. Ngl Ben, I think you're off your rocker on this one. They are offering exactly what Masai's asking price was for Siakam and I think you're both undervaluing their assets and overvaluing ours. Suggesting GTJ is disrespectful. If we had better options on the market, Pascal would have already been shopped. This would genuinely be a good trade for both teams considering their less than ideal situations. They'd get OPJ back and would clearly be less hesitant to risk a one-year rental given they already did that. Especially if we take CP3, the risk would be very low for them which gives us more leverage than we have with any other team in the league. And a salary dump like that would also benefit us greatly. Masai clearly valued Kuminga at a similar level as Quick & RJ to the point it was the dealbreaker last offseason. I can think of a million scenarios where a Kuminga/Moody package would be a damn near perfect trade for us. Not everything has to be a fleece.

(and maybe most importantly, we give Siakam a real chance to contend instead of stringing him along here. He deserves that.)
