  1. Terrible shooting night.

    Beal cooked Jaime.

    Too many turnovers.

    Next game.

  2. Sad-Dragonfly-4016

I always dread the 5 game west coast trip. Glad it’s over

  3. Own-Marsupial-4448

This hurts man! Bring it back home and regroup!!

  4. Own-Marsupial-4448

Why is he Grayson Allen still in the league btw??? How’s that possible?

  5. JimmyButlerMVP_

This is a loss you can’t even be mad at. You can’t plan on all your guys bricking while a guy who averages 12 points shoots 60% from 3, not to mention the guys we’re missing

  6. HoldR2ForLongerLife

Man the Splash Crackers gotta get their shit together. 3 straight games of horrible shooting, and it’s clearly felt since our offense looks putrid. Yes, this includes the Laker game, they just played even worse than us.

  7. Not even meant negatively and I doubt it happens but I am 100% trading Herro for Mitchell if given the opportunity. It isn’t even a one game thing or a bad stretch we know their strengths

  8. jbenson255

The herro situation is serious imo he’s a good basketball player but the inability to get to the rim at all or finish at the rim is a big big problem

  9. Own-Marsupial-4448

Learning pains throughout the season!! Get it day by day!! On to the next one!!

  10. Esjay_954

This is karma for raplebum and other fans celebrating and posting threads about brads unlucky injuries saying they are glad we didn’t get him

  11. KernelPult

after 1st quarter tonight we decided to match Lakers 3 pt shooting performance from previous game

  12. SoCalHeatFan2020

There is a silver lining. It wasn’t a nationally televised game.

  13. OhMyItzBam_Herro305

Let them get every shot, don’t defend and miss all our shots 2nd half. I Don’t hate the Suns, Hate how we didn’t play a lick of defense tonight. Definitely flashbacks from last regular season. Please don’t start a bad trend again.

Nephews, casuals gonna be out here in full effect tonight. And quite honestly they deserve to be.

  14. limpl0uie

Having none of your primary wing defenders is not conducive to winning.

  15. GRpanda123

2-3 west coast trip isn’t bad . They really should of had that game in Utah

  16. recollectionsmayvary

Nothing I hate more than when magic might win on a night we lose lol

  17. South_Conference2617

Tyler herro and Duncan Robinson stats combined. 5/24 fg% 61 combined minutes played, and 13 points. That right there is the main reason why they lost.

  18. I_love_hiromi

I caught glimpses of the game. Any insights on what affected our shooters? Also, curious about JJ and Bam’s performance inside. And, was Beal unguardable?

  19. iliveonramen

That was just a terrible game. Haven’t seen shooting like that since last year from the Heat.

Herro got toasted on defense like 3 times in a row at the end of the 2nd which gave the Suns that lead. He was reliably a traffic cone for them the rest of the game. He was horrendous this game.

Bam was a beast on both ends. Love had his game of the year. J Rich played good defense. The rest of the team just was terrible tonight.

    Finally some home games

  20. TopImagination7112

I wish I could hit Grayson Allen with a car

  21. never heard of a scorer who’s incapable of getting to the rim.

I remember when t-rex uploading workout videos during the offseason convinced this fanbase that he magically was gonna become strong and capable of driving through contact, finishing at the rim, and drawing fouls

it’s almost like he’s the EXACT same player he was 2 years ago and is 1000% at his ceiling. He is a shooter. Nothing more. He’s far from a 3-level scorer (generates 0 rim pressure), he still can’t score in isolation, he still cant defend, he still cant playmake. He’s a glorified roleplayer who should be coming off the bench for any team that’s serious about trying to compete.

i miss that 18 game stretch where he was out with the ankle sprain, and we looked like a good team who could score efficiently, move the ball well, and play defense. what a fun time to watch this team.

  22. EntertainmentWarm774

Damn I just realized that the 4-8th spots in the East all have nearly identical records at ~ 20-15. Gonna be a fight to the finish to maintain at least a top 6 seed by the end of the regular season.

  23. Why_am_ihere20

It feels like a very classic loss for this group. But overall don’t feel too bad about the road trip all things considered.

  24. GhostifiedMark

Grayson Allen saw that January 6 was tomorrow so he felt inspired

  25. HerroicDunc

Bad shooting night. Too many Herro shots that went in and out. There was no Duncan Time today. At least Bam had a bounce back game.

It’s a regular season loss against a similar tier team so not that bad of a.loss. Stop with the trade talks 💀

  26. GRpanda123

Herros last three games have been bad , even 21 at Lakers was a bad shoot night

  27. Ozymandias12

Really bad game. Nobody could hit the broadside of a barn outside of Love in the first half. Honestly, I know our guys have been injured but I’m not liking how this team has looked against the contenders in the west. We’ve had bad losses to MN, Clippers, now the Suns.

  28. gamesrgreat

Well at least Jovic’s fouls per minute is going down. 0 fouls in 24 min

  29. realbrotherhood77

Was at the game. No one could throw a ball into an ocean from 3 tonight and it’s hard to win a game when Grayson Allen has 31 points.

  30. TheRatchetTrombone

It seemed more like fatigue for the team. I think the homestand will rejuvenate a lot of the shooting and the team.

Herro, Duncan, and the rest of the team are fine and in a slump. It happens. I’m willing to bet we will adjust and get back to normal starting Monday. We will be fine.

This team is still a contender. I know we will go on another streak.

  31. someasics

This game was definitely Jaime’s welcome to the league moment, Beal and Book were cooking him but thats to be expected. We couldn’t shoot a ball in the ocean just an overall ugly game.

  32. MoassThanYoass

Well, the Suns fed the hot hand (Grayson Allen).

The Heat benched the hot hand (Kevin Love). Yes I know KLove minutes are somewhat restricted but he was the only one really cooking for the Heat.

  33. Weary-Kangaroo-3883

I feel bad for Tyler. His defense has improved but his offensive improvement feels minimal at times. His wingspan and strength means he isn’t able to get to the rim consistently and has to rely on jump shots/floaters. I sometimes wonder if these deficiencies are why he’s always in trade talks yet Jimmy and Bam never are.

  34. MargielaMan568

Herro is what he is at this point. I don’t get annoyed and pissed as I did in previous years. He’s always going to be a volume scorer, and when he has games like tonight, it’s gonna be extremely rough to watch.

  35. bershka321

Jaime is an okay defender but clearly still a tier or two below Caleb and Highsmith. He got his lunch stolen tonight

  36. printerpaperwaste

Random comment but my one guilty pleasure after bad games is seeing that one nuthin dude start calling every other player ass or worse when herro himself has a bad game.

It’s kinda funny, but very sad, because it happens. Herro will be fine.

  37. this was the second game ive missed this season and it seems it was a good time to miss one. i dont even want to know how grayson allen hit 9 threes on us

  38. Cockycent

The Heat are bottom 3 in FGA while 19th in FG%. The only teams in the bottom 10 in FGA to shoot more poorly are Grizz, DET, and Houston.

I get that Caleb and Jimmy not here, but this was a winnable game at multiple points where the shot selection was good and they just missed.

I saw missed layups, missed open 3s, close ass floaters that bricked.

This and the Clipper game are both bottom 5 in FG% for the Heat this season. Only 3 games were worse – the L against the Knicks, the 1st Wolves game and the win against the Pistons.

The 0-5 starts from Bam, Herro just chucking, Lowry with a couple idiotic moves, Jaime turning the ball over, Duncan being almost nonexistent and Suns still provided Heat opportunities to come back.

    Heat played like ass.

I need this Rockets game to be a change in direction. Smarter basketball. Use the plays that help – Bam/Herro, Bam/Duncan, Jaime down low, ball movement, cutting to the rim. Chucking 3s in hopes that you make it is so trash.
