For the people who’ve been complaining about Jeremy and Tre shouldn’t shoot the 3s.
In the last possession, DV(Our best shooter) was double-teamed by both Giannis & Beasley, thus he passed the ball to Wemby, but Dame was right up there, so Wemby passed the ball to the wide-open Tre Jones when it was less than 4 seconds left.
Like what the hell should Tre Jones do? Not shoot the ball and turn the ball over in 3 seconds?
You might as well blame Wemby for not shooting the ball, against Dame who’s almost 2 feet shorter than him.
The rest of the squad was well-guarded, it’s only logical to pass the ball to the only wide-open person, and there’s definitely not enough time for Tre to pass the ball again, without making an easy TO.
Also, Wemby is shooting 29.4% from 3, while Jeremy is having a 37.5% season. Do you guys really think letting
Jeremy shooting those wide-opens is a worse idea than letting Wemby shoot a contested 3?
I get it, Spurs fans are salty in a losing season, but come on.
