I truly think Darvin Ham was hired on a longer deal because the Lakers secretly thought Russ would force them to blow up the team, so he would’ve been fine as a rebuilding coach. LeBron carried hard, so Pelinka saw a fair shot at some trades to improve the team. Now Ham is in a role he isn’t ready for. His player relation abilities would fit a lottery team right now, not a LeBron win-now team.

Bro when you have a respected head coach in Ty Lue, you gotta respect him. Do you see how Ballmer has treated Ty Lue despite all the injuries. Ty Lue has always got the clippers more wins bc he is one of the best coaches and can even win games with an injured roster. The clipper went to the conference finals the 1 year where Kawhi and Paul George were healthy but Kawhi getting injured likely cost them a championship. There is no doubt in my mind that Ty Lue is an elite head coach that deserves every penny and dollar

I think this is the biggest fuck up in the last few years. You had the chance to tie up one of the better coaches in the league (top 5?), someone who has over performed on every team, showed he can work with superstars and get the most out of unknown guys, someone who has coached Lebron fucking James to a title, and a freaking former Laker player and instead you get an assistant coach with no HC experience to be nice to Russell Westbrook???

I was a Vogel stan, I hated when he was fired and have/had no idea of or affliction towards Ham, so if he is fired he is fired. BUT I just can not see why people are so high on Lue. What did he manage to win in his tenure with the Clippers? Yeah PG chokes come playoff time, Kawhi is always injured etc. but Lue has to have some of the blame too. I think he is a better coach than Ham but he is no Spo.

I think this is the biggest fuck up in the last few years.
