Maybe we already have our starting backcourt?

Iā€™m sure Cole Anthony would prefer to be in the starting lineup, but heā€™s really benefiting the team coming off the bench with his energy to give the fatigued starters some rest.

I really like the shooting improvements ive seen from suggs this year.

  3. Cole is an elite 6th man, but he is also very clearly primarily a scorer who thrives the most being the primary or secondary option with a high useage rate, which he would not be with Franz and Paolo on the floor. His athleticism also works better against fatigued opposing starter or less polished bench defender.

That being said, while he does not start and rarely closes out games, his average playtime per game is the second highest amongst the guards and only 2 minutes behind Jalen, so he does see plenty of action in a lot of different lineups (which pretty much always only have one of Paolo or Franz on, though)

I like his bench role, but I would like to see him closing games more often.
