Players defend standing. i challenge you to remember when one defender jumped like this 6:43 . The team strategy is to have the arm up standing. only Pat jumps and he seems weird as the only player who does that
Lopez is guarding way too deep, that is problematic, it leaves too many open shots. Good shooters have a party. He must go up and run back if needed. either coach fixes this in training, or one of them should be dropped. ffs, have him practice speed and awareness, just copy the moves from other players in the league. dude is afraid to run or make a mistake. its a game, it is ok to make mistakes, but it is not okay to move backwards walking. turn and run
