Basically scrub his social media of hawks related content and this latest scrubbing of his Instagram account comes amid consistent trade rumors Sports Illustrated had reported earlier in the week that the Hawks have been slow to act on anything despite all of the speculation so assuming this means Mario

Will be traded is a step too far but things have not been going well for the team and when that happens change usually follows but as wo recently stated the Hawks are now open for business on trades and again Landry Fields their GM is determined to make

Changes this is a massive update from W here basically giving us the information that the Hawks are absolutely open for business and they are determined even to make changes to that roster the names that have always been thrown out there is Clint capella and DeAndre Hunter but

Could another name be growing out there could another name be thrown out there with those two could it be dejon Murray the reason I’m saying that is because again as we just reported there he cleared and scrubbed all of his social media of hawks related information now why would you do that

Why would you clear all of your social media of your Hawks related information when you’re part of the team if you’re not gearing up for a potential trade to another team and here’s the thing he cannot be traded till January 9th some players are till January 15th but

Because of the contract Murray signed he is eligible to be traded on January 9th we’re a few days away from that trade deadline folks and that might be the date that Leon Rose and the Knicks are looking at because we don’t know maybe there is a deal already in place for the

Knicks to trade for Murray but they can’t make that move until the 9th we don’t know anything as of yet however many of the reports have the Hawks moving on from dejonte Murray and one of the teams that have been consistently linked to him is the New York Knicks the

Guards that potentially could be available the jeante Murray is probably the best backourt fit with Jaylen Brunson his defense the way he plays the passing Lane he can shoot mid-range shots he’s a playmaker he can help facilitate as well too he is perfect for the Knicks perfect under Tom tho and a

Perfect backourt mate with Jaylen Brunson could you imagine those two with OG and anobi that defense is already crazy add Mitchell Robinson back crazy defense who is stopping that starting five I can’t think of any starting five in the league who would be able to take down that Nick starting five defensively

You add Murray to that starting five it is absolutely ridiculous for the defense and I would argue the offense for the New York Knicks what you can already see is thriving under OG an anobi will Thrive even more with deante Maru on this team because he will help bring

Defenders toward him helping open up the paint for Julius Randall and Jaylen Brunson making it easier on those guys to get their buckets without having to worry about double teams or triple teams coming on in the paint because when you have a player like Deon Murray or a

Shooter on your team like OG and anobi teams are going to have a hard time doubling you or triple teaming you in the paint because they can’t leave muray they can’t leave OG and if they do they’re gonna make him pay and obviously they can’t leave Jaylen and they can’t

Leave Randall so the opposing team on defense is always going to have to wonder and make a choice who do I have to go after and when they leave somebody and clearly when the Nick swing it they’re going to swing it to find the shooter and if they find Dante or OG or

Jaylen that shot is likely going in more times than not that’s the type of Team the New York Knicks are building and when you’re building a type of Team like that adding a player like the jeon Murray is perfect because his playmaking is exactly what you need on this Knicks

Have the assets to blow the Hawks away but I think they have a better asset pool than a number of teams that may want to trade with the Hawks to get Murray even when you think about teams like the Lakers the Lakers have been consistently rumored to want to trade

For the jonte Murray and of course I can understand that there’s a clutch connection there I get it but just because there’s a clutch connection there doesn’t mean that they’re going to go ahead and make the trade because if you look at assets the Knicks have more

Assets to offer the Hawks than the Lakers do the Lakers may have a couple of better players to offer the Hawks maybe D’Angelo Russell maybe Austin Reeves although I heard that Austin Reeves is Untouchable for the Lakers so he’s not likely going anywhere so because of that it seems like if you

Look around the league and you look at potential suitors for Murray and who wants to trade for him it looks like the Knicks may have the best package available but as Brett seagull mentioned here the Knicks don’t necessarily have the assets to blow the Hawks away but

They may not have to do that because even though they don’t have the necessary assets to make the best offer it may be the best offer on the table for the Hawks and if that’s the case the Hawks may be inclined to accept it and

If they do that’s how the Knicks get de jante Mario on this roster and you may ask yourself why would the Hawks even accept the package of picks forier and maybe Quinton Grimes well I’m going to argue that the reason they would accept that is because they would likely take

Those picks and want to flip them for a major asset that they can get back to pair with Trey young that fits better than Murray does with him because that’s what the Hawks are looking like they want to do and if the Knicks can go ahead and seize that opportunity all
