Players and Marcus Morris and Pat Beverly because they were the ones to really help bring this one home yeah I think you said the two key names coming down the stretch Morris made that huge three-point shot off a maxi block and Pat Beverly did an incredible job he

Beat everybody to the ball and kind of banged it back out beyond the three line where Morris was standing and made the huge shot I think that really proved to be the play of the game really gritty win for the six absolutely because they

Had to to fight tooth and nail this is a good Rockets team obviously defensively they were giving the Sixers quite some fits um Sixers were having some trouble scoring and then you saw what the Rockets were able to do but I don’t think Pat Beverly is going to get an

Official rebound for that one but it was a great deflection over to his guy Marcus Morris who who drained the triple and hit the free throw Amy those little things add up and as you can see Pat Bev came up with a winning play when in time permitted and we spoke about that

Winning players make winning plays when you needed the most some small things add up boom let’s hear from Marcus morrris after this one because uh I knew has be feeling good he started his career with the the rockets and he finished them tonight all right Marcus you had four

Points in the first three quarters tonight you had four big ones make it five big ones with that made free throw to ice this game just walk us through this fourth quarter and this comeback win for you and the Sixers you know first uh you know Maxi did a hell of a

Job by carrying Us in this game uh we came out very flat and he came out and and you know rejuvenated and kept us kept us around in this game and uh you know it was only right that that guys got got involved in the fourth quarter

And BR it home for him tell me about the toughness you bring right no Joel embid in the lineup right now you’re on the road they you’re playing against a team with a big guy who’s having a pretty good year they needed everything you brought to the table are you aware of

The fact that the team needs your toughness when you step out there you know what um I think I think it’s a collective man we got a lot of guys on this team and you know Robert King came in and gave us know tremendous minutes

Man and uh you know house came and gave us a lot of energy and down the stretch man we just we we try to keep seon off the glass and keep them guyss off the glass man and uh you know I’m from North Philly so uh that’s that’s that’s always

Maxi had like 40 something to BU his head was incredible but Maxi but but Pat Bev and Mars were they’re two MVPs for me they made winning plays down the stress to help the six team get this win yeah it’s interesting because it was a back and forth game we were looking at

One point where the the Rockets were leading by nine was like 9990 or thinking oh it’s over then the Sixers roared back let’s take you through the last couple of minutes in this one Sixers had just taken the lead and the guys that Mark was just talking about

Are going to be they’re going to be featured prominently in this one defensively it’s important to see that these guys are out there Pat Beed Marcus Morris they’re out there in the Crux of the game Jim yeah you just saw a huge three there by Van Fleet who had a

Magnificent game on his own this really was a guard dominated game I thought with the scoring from both back courts and nice pass from Maxi who’s been scoring all night and he lays this three ball right to a wide open in the corner Pat Bev huge Play Beverly played the

Whole fourth quarter he sure did and they did a lot of chitchat between van fle and Pat that’s that’s incredible heads up play play it a game for me heads up play I mean to have that aware Wess to know exactly where he is and

They stuffed Maxi I mean it was a good block and then him just to come up with like almost a volleyball tap that’s exactly what it was and he knew exactly where his ke teammate was that’s a desperation shot there and it went in and you’re thinking oh my gosh we’re on

The zoom off us are called we’re on the Seesaw everyone um that the fact that that went in was like thinking seriously that was a a good shot defensively obviously the Sixers didn’t get back in this one this was a fabulous steal and Anthony Melton another guy that’s coming up veteran

Presence you know that winning kind of time player Mark absolutely we expect this from Melton you know he’s he he’s finds a way to contribute since the day he put on the sixes uniform and he’s never let us down yeah and they um this was an odd play so shinon had fouled out

So he wasn’t in don’t you just don’t you try a three Jim I mean I don’t maybe you’re going to get the foul well no that’s what they’re trying to do is if you’re going to go two you get two quickly and then foul immediately so now you still if somebody

Misses a free throw you still have a chance to tie the game yeah they didn’t fou right away it was like 1.8 but um it was interesting you know when we saw DeAnthony Melton make those two free throws they had purposefully fouled him before that because he went one for one

The previous um time to the charity Stripes so it was good to see him actually come through that’s that’s a big time player right there I mean the game’s on the line obviously it’s about back and forth you’re you know you’re up one up two and then all of a sudden they

Foul you on purpose I that’s never a good feeling you W be fou on purpose it’s cuz they know you’re not a good free throw shooter Mark they have less confidence in you making those free throws which would benefit them but that’s what he did he stepped up he

Knocked them down you know it it was good shout out to them for for him stepping up at that moment now it makes teams like oh who he found this time you know so that’s what happens yeah it was a fun one to watch Sixers get the big

Win they’re second in a row of course they’re second in a row also without jool and V let’s check in with Nick nurse from Houston line up where we where we just started switching it to take away both the shot and the pock some mismatches

But we had to try to figure out sangon rolling against smaller guys and bigger guys guarding Fred but that seemed to be just enough to get a stop or two um late in the game so that’s that’s pretty much it I just think it he was such a tough

Jets on tonight I just loved it when he just took off and tried to make a play he took some hits and some some bumps and some whatever but he got to the free throw line a bunch because he was aggressive and seeking the contact UM didn’t get a ton rolling from

The the three-point line but he did throw in a couple um I just I loved his aggressiveness tonight tyres made a comment last week I think about how Tobias does whatever is sort of needed of him on any given night um four games in a row for him with 20 plus points
