Okay guys obviously that was a disappointing loss so I’m going to try my best to stay as positive as I can throughout this video and I’m going to talk about my positives at the very end of this video but for right now we got to keep it real this was a disappointing

Loss and the Phoenix Suns should be kicking themselves after tonight’s game let’s start off with the very end of the third quarter where the Phoenix Suns were on a 15-3 run then all the sudden the Suns go like 0 for five and the Grizzlies go on a 14 to one run to start

Off the fourth quarter they were aggressive they had better defense defensive urgency they were taking and making really good shots Tom Chambers made a good point during the broadcast after the game that they only averaged like 120 points per game but the Suns made it seem like they were averaging

Like 150 this game there were two really bad defensive possession possessions that stood out to me one of those possessions was Desmond Bane missed an open three one of the Grizzlies got like a back tap Second Chance opportunity and then Marcus Smart missed an open three

And then all of a sudden Desmond bang just drives right in and just throws it down and nobody was in the paint it was embarrassing and then around the two-minute Mark jiren Jackson Jr misses a three Williams Jr who I’m going to talk about later uh gave them a second

Chance point and that led to wide openen Desmond Bane 3 that just cannot happen the Phoenix Suns fourth quarter woses come back to haunt them again way too many missed shots in the fourth quarter and it just kind of seems like the Phoenix Suns just ran out of gas they lost their

Urgency I just I don’t know you guys H defense was a little bit trash I will say this though me saying that there was a lot of runs in this game was an absolute understatement specifically 80 r runs I cannot even count how many times both

Teams went on an 80 run and this was lowkey like a physical chippy game and for both teams at times was a really ugly game on both sides of the ball I think that’s the reason that both teams went on so many runs as they did but

Again it was just that fourth quarter where it just became a disaster the suns were missing shots the Grizzlies were making shots they had more hustle more aggressiveness and the Phoenix Suns fourth quarter woses and flaws just came back to haunt them once again and it

Sucked so let me just read you guys some numbers real quick let me start off with the Memphis Grizzlies jiren Jackson Jr had 28 points in 32 minutes also had 10 boards six assists and was 11 for 20 from the field Marcus Smart I thought

Had a really good game we all know what he does on defense and he was a defensive dog tonight he had 25 points eight assists and six rebounds didn’t really shoot the best but was really aggressive on offense Desmond Bane continues to be one of the most underrated players in the league 23

Points five rebounds five assists on eight for 14 shooting and then it was Vince William Jr if I’m getting that correct I’m not going to lie to you guys I do not know who that is but he had a Breakout game tonight really competed on defense as well he had 19 points nine

Rebounds with 6 for 11 from the field all the Phoenix Sun starters were in double digits Kevin Durant had 23 10 and five Yousef nerkish had a really good game I’m going to talk about him a little bit later but he had 18 points 19 rebounds and five assists and was eight

For 17 from the field Bradley Beal didn’t really get too many touches today he only had 12 points Grayson Allen had 16 points four for eight from three and Devin Booker had 24 points and eight assists but the Phoenix Suns bench didn’t really contribute that much I do

Think that Drew Eubanks contributed some really good minutes he had that highlight play where Booker just lobbed it up to him and he just threw it down I also thought Josh aogi was really good in this game but he got into foul trouble but the Phoenix Suns bench just

Provided pretty much nothing I mean chimi metu for example even though he had 12 minutes in tonight’s game he only had four points and he was 0 for five from three there were so many times where metu was wide open and took his time and missed the three it was just

One of those nights Grizzly shot 44% from the field Suns shot 45% from the field but they were eight for 28 from three good enough for 28.6% both teams had 29 rebounds the Phoenix Suns had 62 points in the paint but they had 27 fouls in all fairness the Grizzlies

Had 24 fouls but still that cannot happen but let me close out the video on a positive note Grayson Allen was really good in this game once again like I mentioned he had the four threes and yes he belongs in the NBA Three-Point Contest during NBA Allstar Weekend 24

But he just fits this role so well and he has just been great all season long there was one place specifically where Devin Booker was kind of Locked Up by Marcus Smart uh Grayson Allen droving kicked it to KD and then went immediately to the three-point line KD
