I was wondering why he hadn’t been playing. Guess something happened off the court that forced this decision.
very odd. seems like they could have waived PBJ or Gallo before Rollins.
If nothing serious off court happened, I don’t get this at all. In his limited minutes, he showed he has potential to be a decent role player. Why couldn’t they just waive Gallo instead?
Well, that’s unfortunate.
Poole trade looking worse and worse by the day.
edit: omg, stop talking to me about the 2025+ salary floor. you don’t worry about future salary floor this year. you wanna keep that cap open as much as possible for flexibility, and the ability to absorb contracts will be more valuable as we go further into the new CBA. ya’ll are bending over backwards with mental gymnastics.
For some odd reason, this sub seems to think our new FO is guaranteed good. I think the decisions they’ve made so far have been a disaster. Why should we give them the benefit of the doubt?
Never heard of her
I am really bummed about this. He’s so good, with all the bums on this roster it must have been something non basketball related.
They cannot be serious they could’ve waived Gill useless self if they were that desperate for a spot
This is like 9/11
That makes no sense at all.
I implore you: Look around. Have we torn this shit down to the studs yet? No? Then the rebuild hasn’t started. Either we’re making space to take on other teams bad money in a trade(s) or he did something stupid.
Got to be a trade incoming if not though why release Rollins and not Gill
I like Rollins and wish him the best. I hesitate on the move but we have a glut of guards and he has no realistic path to minutes. He and Gill are the easiest contracts to cut, but Gill at least keeps the locker room together.
It’s about time we start churning an open roster spot and start diamond hunting. The Thunder did this perfectly and Dawkins is gonna repeat it here. At very least convert Omoruyi and then churn the two-way spot.
This is incredibly frustrating
We need some context here.. dude looked nothing but good every time he got minutes.
He helped win 6 games! How could they do this?!
Being waived by a tanking team. Lowest point of his career.
I’m a lakers fan, is he any good?
Strange. I liked Rollins a lot. Thought he had potential to be a solid back up PG.
