  1. The Bucks are great but what I've learned from this video is that Dame gets the absolute most bullshit calls

  2. 3:39 This whole sequence is amazing. Dame drives in, loses the ball, Giannis gets it, loses the ball, Bobby gets it, goes up for a layup but hits the backboard on the way up, it flies way past the rim, Giannis tips it in, technically making it a lob off the backboard

  3. Should We Be WORRIED About The Bucks?

Long comment, but as a Bucks fan, it's a little too early to panic, but at the same time there needs to be a sense of urgency with the coaching, players, & defense. We're 36 games in & they're the 2nd seed with a record of 25-11, which is the 3rd best record in the NBA. Casuals have been saying over & over, "They were better with Jrue! They're missing Jrue! Losing Jrue is the reason they suck now!" But what those casuals don't know is that their record is actually better right now than any of the 3 years they were with Jrue after 36 games lol. Also, they keep claiming we're missing Jrue's defense as if Jrue was the only reason our defense was good. Of course Jrue's a great defender, but our defensive ratings were actually better before we traded for Jrue, ranked #1 in defense 2 years in a row before Jrue came, & then ranked 10th, 14th, & 4th the 3 years with Jrue. Jrue wasn't the sole reason that our defense was good, our defense was always good, even before him. Also, the 1st year with Jrue, we went on 5-game losing streak & a couple 3-game losing streaks that year, these kind of struggles are bound to happen throughout the season with any team, the NBA is a very long season, similar struggles we're having right now. I think the biggest issue right now is, Adrian Griffin's coaching has been atrocious. Giannis messed up by handpicking a rookie coach over Nick Nurse. I'm pretty sure Terry Stotts was the backup plan, in case AG turns out to be bad, but AG had a powertrip & drove Stotts to resign from the team. Coaching is the biggest reason why we're struggling, not because we lost Jrue. We only win because Giannis (& sometimes Dame) goes off, bailing us out most of the time. We're winning off our talent only, not because of strategy or great coaching. Coach Bud was an amazing regular season Coach, but for whatever reason, a terrible Playoffs coach. He had 3 bad post-season meltdowns within a 5-year span while here, 2019, 2020, & 2023, that's just too many & unforgiveable. Honestly, they should've won it all in 2019, Giannis should have 2 rings by now. But I feel like, if you're going to make a big trade like we did for Dame, you might as well keep the same Coach & let him have a try at it with the new roster. It's either one or the other imo, make a big trade & let the current coach get another shot with the new roster, or you fire the coach & let the new coach get a shot with the same roster as before. The Bucks went & did both, & shook up the whole East, now our biggest threat has Jrue, which is dangerous. I always been a believer that we needed a guy like Dame though. The past Playoffs, Giannis has needed way more help, Jrue was always atrocious offensively for us during the playoffs & Middleton is inconsistent. Middleton averaged 13ppg only in the ECF back in 2019, he's supposed to be our 2nd best player, if we had a guy like Dame back then, we for sure would've won the chip that year. These past few years, I've always stressed how we needed a bigger, athletic defensive perimeter player too. Guys like Pat, Grayson Allen, Wes Matthews, & even Jrue were too small to guard those bigger guards. Having PJ in 2021 helped a lot, Jrue wasn't guarding KD in that 2nd round, it was PJ. And then the last 2 years, we had nobody to guard guys like Jaylen Brown, Tatum, & Butler. Our wing players were too undersized for those guys. Even now, I think that's one reason our defense is struggling, after all of Middleton's injuries, bro can't guard a parked car, he's so slow now. Beasley has been great for us thus far, but he isn't a lockdown defender either. Hopefully Crowder gets healthy & can play that role when he comes back, but this is something we'll have to address at the trade deadline. Our bench is bad too, Portis is not the same, Pat sucks, & we've been heavily relying on some very young players in Beauchamp & our rookie Andre Jackson. We need a better bench.
