He definitely is aging. It shows at times, but he’s just well conditioned and takes care of his body. He’s also still in it mentally which is more important than the physical aspect is.

  2. Splittinghairs7

The entire premise is wrong, he has definitely aged but the better question is how has Lebron adapted his game so well despite aging?

  3. Brokenbullet14

He definitely is, his mid range has been terrible, thankfully he was hitting some yesterday.

  4. LeagueReddit00

He very obviously is. You put 2014 LeBron on this team and we are the favorites to win instead of fighting tor a playoff spot

The title is to get ppl to click, but thinking basketball is one of the best basketball channels out there. He talks about how while Lebrons declining athleticism has hindered a certain facet of his game, he has found ways to overcome that through honing in on other areas

ITT: people reacting only to the title, and not the video that is well produced and very informative

  7. Tall_Succotash

maybe more of the comments should watch the video lol..it’s crazy what clickbait people fall into

  8. Spaghettibeach

that lingering foot injury last year was really fucking him up, you can see the difference this season especially in his shooting.

  9. DLoadingKeanu

Lebron is easily the most athletic human being to ever exist. There’s no argument.

How can Thinking Basketball’s content be so great yet their thumbnails so atrocious?

  11. BeneathTheDirt

My favorite part of the video is when he said Lebron texted him and said he listens to the podcast

I can guarantee you that nobody thinks the video is about how Lebron defies the reality and physics of aging. “Aging” can be figurative. I think you’re just being pedantic.

side note do yall know any other channels similar to this one? tryna further my ball knowledge yk

Lebron is a GOAT candidate who works hard to stay in top physical shape.

Most players eventually give up on the physical and hope their skills can carry them (at the end of their careers) for a few more years.

But the sobering reality such players eventually face is that their skills are meaningless without the NBA-level athleticism to support those skills.

Ironically, Lebron’s lack of confidence in his skills is what has given him so much longevity. Even at this (relatively) advanced age, he’s a monster in the paint.

Also, he’s a better– and more confident– shooter than he used to be. He’s still not “good” at shooting, but he can no longer be psyched out or deterrred from shooting. He is determined to keep the defense honest and truly believes that if he gets his rhythm and takes high volume 3s, he’ll shoot a respectable percentage.

The only player I can think of who’s game aged more poorly than his body! He looks 28 plays like they played in the 80’s.

I practice martial arts and have generally always been interested in body mechanics; lebron’s movements have a particular solidness about them. His feet and legs are always aligned to put the last amount of stress on his joints. He also doesn’t overextend himself physically—his movements are very economical.
