Well over half of these are just Chet getting an open shot and gafford standing in no man’s land. Others were mostly just bad switches or simply looks like they just don’t care enough. It’s the whole team, but mostly gafford in these clips
You know it’s bad when OKC announcers are more perplexed why the players are so open rather than excited that they are scoring lol
In my educated opinion I think we need better players.
They’re generally disorganized or late when they’re getting back in transition (looking at you, Kuz), and Chet is demonstrating the value of a floor spacing 5. At 0:22 no one is covering Giddey because they’re 4 on 5. Gafford hedges the wrong way. In my opinion he should drop back and attempt to cover the paint. You take a Giddey above the break 3 every time. Instead I think he forgets who he’s up against and tries to contest. Easy pass for Giddey. At 0:49 Jalen Williams fakes the screen, Kuz falls asleep because he’s expecting the switch, easy bucket on the cut. They’re just not engaged defensively and everyone forgets what they’re supposed to be doing or who needs to be covered.
when is this due? i have other reddit homework due tomorrow.
