wow it is crazy to think he was out longer than he’s been back. it feels like klay day was forever ago

He’s getting paid $43 million a year to play basketball, he’s not doing charity work. what more appreciation does he need?

I know people (including myself at times) have been frustrated with his play, but it is SERIOUSLY incredible this man came back from typically the number 1 and 2 most damaging injuries in sports. Not that long ago, either diagnosis was the cemented end of a career. For Klay to come back at all is heroic. Love you 11

He’s been playing great. I still don’t get why Kerr takes him out in the 3rd with 3 minutes left while he’s on a HEATER and at that point down just 7 the other night. THEN to start the 4th both J.K. and Trayce are not out there and they both were cooking especially J.K. by the end of that 3rd.
Tired of the bullshit line ups and subs. Let the hot hands play. How hard is that to do

PA announcer going “HEEEE’s BACK!” always gives me chills. That 2022 season was so magical

I’ve grown to dislike him

Bro I love Klay, I feel bad I got so down on his early in the season negative vibes. But hell I can’t stay mad at him… kid has such a great personality off the court, lives life so beautifully simple, and has amazing on court determination that inspires me.

I love that a dunk was his first points following the injury hiatus.

It still looks like every shot that leaves his hands is going straight through the net. I just love watching him play, and I still believe in him, completely. Klay Day was such a wonderful mix of emotions, and that 2nd dunk that he “threw down with authority” unforgettable.

I forgot Markkanen was on the Cavs.

That dunk was amazing in its own right, but even more special since his ACL injury occured on a dunk attempt too. You couldn’t script a better way for him to get his first bucket in his first game back after 2 and a half seasons

He frustrates me from time to time but I respect the hell out of him for coming back from those two injuries. And it’s wild how far sports medicine has come in the past decade

I thought he might never play again, I hated it for him. The fact that he came back and got another ring is right out of a Hollywood script. Love you Klay, that signed 8th copy out of the 2,022 championship plaques forever will hang proudly on my wall.

The man has been carrying us. Without him we would be looking at blow outs

I was shitting on Klay earlier this season but no matter how bad he is, I’ll always love him and shoot down any notion of trading him (and draymond). The man is a pillar forever. I’m just grateful that he’s turned things around and is still an effective player
