[Woj] ” I think the hawks are open to ALMOST anything at the trade deadline, but there’s no question They’ve gone as far as they’ll probably go on Dejounte Murray’s pairing with Trae Young in the backcourt. They’re talking Murray deals-and others-throughout the league.”

  1. As we should be. Open to sell to the highest bidder

If Hawks can get any type of Bidding war on any of these guys, thats a win.

and it sounds like DJ is getting proper interest so that is good news.

If we are going down this path, please let the first notification be hunter is getting the fuck outta here. That’s the only thing I’m asking for

  4. Question: if we go this direction and try to create more financial flexibility, would you trade Bogi even though he’s arguably been the most consistent player for us this season. Could get good value selling high right now. Obviously I prefer to dump Dre and Capela’s contracts before jumping to him.

I wonder what he really meant by “ALMOST anything”

Why is the narrative “trae and DJ are as good as their gonna be together so let’s split them up after 1/2 season”

    And not,

“Hey they need more help and need to add more talent around the 2 best players on the team”

Like if the NBA has learned anything since the super team became in vogue is that you need AT LEAST 3 elite players to be highly competitive.

This to me just screams cheap org that doesn’t want to go all in on winning.. looks like they wanna be mid or get really really lucky and find cheap elite help.. which doesn’t exist.

This is a step in the right direction. I just hope in the summer they are going let the purse strings loose otherwise this is pointless.

  8. Trae/JJ/Okongwu. That’s the trio I would hope we keep. Okongwu wouldn’t be untouchable for me, but if you’re not getting real value in that trade I don’t get the appeal.

Bogi is a sympathetic/selfish keeper. Realistically he probably has some proper value to contending teams. Just depends on exactly how far we wanna push this thing.
