Oh look RoCo and Embiid are twins. Hopefully they both back soon, our perimeter defense missed both Melton and RoCo.

if we could take Tobias durability and give it to Joel, the contract would be worth it

  4. Trade? I wonder if that has ever happened before, both teams waiting until they meet to trade with each other, almost like they’d just do a swap at halftime lol

In all seriousness, I hope he sits out long enough to get healthy. Don’t rush back, just rehab and strengthen. I’d love for him to go for B2B MVP’s, but I’d like it even more if he can get a healthy run in the playoffs. True this injury could have 0 affect on the playoffs, but it also couldn’t hurt.

I’m reminded of what 3 months off did for AD and Lebron in the bubble playoffs. They had time to get healthy and won a chip, IN PART, because their bodies weren’t broken down like they normally would be from the regular season grind. I know Embiid can’t sit out for 3 months, but just getting healthy would be good.

If he is really hurt he shouldn’t play but just to mention it Embiid is tracking to not quality for the MVP award in games played.

The problem is Embiid simply isn’t built for playing an entire season and playoffs. The second problem is the team isn’t good enough to get a good playoff position without Embiid.
