Im ok with it, people need to understand that after the james harden trade we are completetly in with this core, and we couldn’t done much else. So at least im happy we are retaining the players that ee traded for

Fantastic. He’ll be here till he’s 35 at a minimum. He may not want to play past then.

I believe Kyle Lowry said it once about Kawhi, “Big Dog gotta eat”

It’s good, very good in fact. Best player the Clippers have ever had and it seems he wants to retire here.

Also, there’s no point blowing it up since we don’t have our picks.

Common sense to anyone who knows that Kawhi was a Clipper-lifer as soon as he signed here.

The man left a championship team to come home. He was always gonna stay. A slight discount on only 3-years is nice too. Shows that the guy is loyal to the org. He’ll be the Clipper GOAT when it’s said and done imo

Can anyone clarify how this contract amount may or may not effect what other players can get with the salary cap, like is this about the same % as current or will other players have to take a cut or bolt?

Board-man got paid, not lets get a chip’

  8. Fantastic if he stays healthy of course. Anybody notice he looks slimmed down this year, not as much upper body muscles? Might be a good thing to stay on the court.

A great signing and a great statement to players around the league about how we look out for our players.

Love it. When healthy Kawhi is a top 5 player in the NBA. Great job Clippers!

There was no other way. If you wanna win you’ve gotta have a guy of his caliber. Can’t open a new arena without a bonafide star. No picks until the end of the decade. I’m stoked!

Absolutely worth it. I’d give anything to see kawhi and pg be clippers for the rest of their careers

Worth it. However, I’m not sure how we can keep this core? Shit is about to get P R I C E Y. Or we just lose all depth? I’m not too great on the financial stuff.

He’s earned it, best talent in franchise history.

  15. This is pretty big isn’t it? Don’t guys at this age and caliber usually aim for a longer term deal as it’s likely the last big bag?
