The Los Angeles Lakers Have a MAJOR Problem…

The Los Angeles Lakers Have a MAJOR Problem…

Try our hardest to keep this core of guys together and also improve I I feel like guys I felt a lot more comfortable in their roles I’m tired of people living and dying with every single game we play maybe we just suck right now after missing the Playoffs in 2022 the

Los Angeles Lakers decided to start over and retool around their two stars LeBron James and Anthony Davis they hired a brand new coach that off season and made some major changes during the season before the trade deadline and that did the trick the fact that they were able

To get out of Russell Westbrook’s contract is a miracle in of itself they turned their season around with a completely different team made the play in turnament and somehow Advanced all the way to the 2023 Western Conference Finals but even with most of their playoff rotation returning this season

The Lakers have struggled to find a consistent rhythm in their offense playing time and starting lineup frustrations have begun to boil over as the team continues to Tumble down the standings and it could only get much worse with the trade deadline only about a month away recent history suggests

That drastic changes are on the horizon so before we get to the content make sure you drop like subscribe and turn on our notifications to help the channel grow you’re so close to 900,000 subscribers and I wanted to thank you all from the bottom of my heart now that

We get all that out of the way do the Intro we made $1,100 off of a $2 entry on prize picks and it wasn’t just me it was everyone that followed these picks on my Instagram story and the best feeling is the amount of people that made money as a result of this I mean Bam Bam Bam Bam

My DMs were flooded so the best part for me was seeing you guys make money as well but we’re not done yet if you haven’t signed up for prize picks use my promo code microphone to double your deposit up until $100 on prize picks and

I give away my picks on a daily basis for free on my Instagram story and now my Snap Chat story we’re having so much fun doing this I’m so happy that I made you guys some money and thank you prize piix for the sponsor Mike Chuck 1212 what’s going on everybody entering the

2023 off season the Lakers made resigning their inseason additions a top priority despite LeBron James practically threatening retirement general manager Rob pinka said this during a press conference for their draft picks try our hardest to keep this core of guys together and also improve um around the edges and on the margins

To not only get back to where we were last year but hopefully take the next step um the Lakers drafted jayen Hood chaffino with the 17th overall pick out of Indiana and Maxwell Lewis 40th overall out of Pepperdine this was the first time the Lakers actually kept their first round pick since selecting

Mo Wagner in 2018 although he ended up getting traded after his rookie season once free agency opened up ruie haimura Jared Vanderbilt and D’Angelo Russell all reup with the team after the Lakers acquired them during last season they gave their stud role player Austin Reeves a 4-year $54 million extension

After he unexpectedly emerged as a starter during their Conference Finals run but that wasn’t it outside free agents Came Calling too Gabe Vincent fresh off of an NBA Finals run with Miami signed a three-year deal to join the Los Angeles Lakers but the Lakers didn’t finish there Toran Jackson Hayes

Cam reddish and Christian Wood all experienced rotational players signed more modest deals to fill out the roster later on in August the Lakers locked up Anthony Davis to the largest annual contract extension in NBA history with a 3-year 186 million deal further committing themselves to the LeBron ad

Pairing for the foreseeable future now at the time there were rumors of a Kyrie Irving LeBron James reunion but the Lakers decided to stick with continuity over depleting their rotation for a third star and we all applauded them for it if you go back to our videos back

Then during the off season I gave the Los Angeles Lakers an A+ for deciding to opt for continuity instead of gutting out the roster to bring in another star I believed if they did so it would have gotten a similar situation as to what the Phoenix Suns are dealing with the

Lakers were actually operating like a normal basketball team and it seems like people are always looking at how the Lakers can trade for the next unhappy star or how they can sign whatever bigname free agent is available but the 2023 off season Lakers just wanted to

Acquire a bunch of good players La had found success with the right combination of role players next to LeBron James and Anthony Davis in the playoffs so they decided to roll with that roster building strategy while maintaining their future flexibility if the Lakers do decide to Pivot towards a star trade

They have a plethora of medium and small-sized contracts that can easily be moved along with a future pick one of the most coveted picks in the NBA and the Lakers had built what was considered by many to be a real title threat they entered this season with the sixth

Highest Championship odds after getting strong grades for their off season however as they’d come to find out the Lakers may have neglected one key area during the off season and this key area may have been the result or their huge downslide this season the first couple

Of weeks of the Lakers season were a mixed bag after losing to Denver on opening night they found out that Jared Vanderbilt would miss significant time with a heal injury on the coure la13 of their next four with all four going down the wire including a pair of overtime

Games but in early November the Lakers announced that Vincent would miss multiple weeks with a left knee injury those critical injuries initially seemed devastating as the Lakers had lost three in a row to fall to three and five but they followed that up with their best stretch of the season in their first

Inseason tournament game they rallied to beat the Phoenix Suns and end their losing streak they won their next inseason tournament game a few days later as they dominated the Memphis Grizzlies to win their third game in a row in season tournament wins bookended another three-game winning streak in

Late November with comfortable wins over Portland in Utah that clinched a perfect record in group play and a spot in the inseason tournament elimination bracket in the meantime they alternated between wins and losses as hachimura missed his second stretch of the season with a nasal fracture however after missing the

First 20 games Jared Vanderbilt finally made his season debut in a victory over Houston and haimura was cleared to return leading up to the inseason tournament quarterfinals against the Phoenix Suns in an instant classic LeBron scored 15 of his 31 points in the fourth quarter as the Lakers got their

Third win of the season over the Suns with a 106 to 103 victory that took them to Las Vegas for the semi-finals they embarrassed the New Orleans Pelicans in front of the whole country 133 to 89 but the game essentially over before the fourth quarter in the finals Anthony

Davis erupted for 41 points and 20 rebounds as the Lakers beat the Pacers 123 to 109 to win the inaugural inseason tournament Championship the championship game didn’t count towards their record but after starting 3 and5 the Lakers had gone 11-4 over the their next 15 games

To improve to 14-9 that night in Vegas with a championship medal around his neck LeBron was asked what he learned about his team as they overcame a bumpy start to go undefeated during the inseason tournament I I feel like guys have felt a lot more comfortable in

Their roles um we’ve had a you know a pretty good understanding of like rotations you know know who you going to be playing with know you know what you guys want to do out on the floor now if you think about it this was a very interesting thing to say at the time

Considering that the Lakers had made a significant lineup change earlier in the season La began the season with Russell Reeves and Prince starting next to LeBron and AD but eight games in with the team struggling head coach Darvin ham made the decision to bench Reeves and start reddish instead ham insisted

It wasn’t a demotion and talked about how Reeves would balance the team by running the second unit and although this was controversial at the time you can’t really argue with the results because at first it worked as Austin Reeves played heavy minutes in the next game finishing with 15 points and seven

Assists which helped spark the Lakers to go on their 11 and4 run but this would actually turn out to be the first step that would sabotage the Lakers you see in the first game after the inseason tournament the Lakers lost a close game in Dallas who played Without Kyrie

Irving they responded by edging the Spurs without LeBron thanks to ad’s second 37-point game but without Anthony Davis they lost their next game against San Antonio who was on an 18 game losing streak at the time while the Spurs would snap an 18 game losing streak versus the

Lakers the Lakers would start on their own four-game losing streak during which Gabe vinsent returned for a game shortly after news broke that he’d be having knee surgery sidelining him for another 6 to8 weeks heading into a big game in Oklahoma City Darvin ham decided to change the starting lineup again this

Time benching DeAngelo Russell for Jared Vanderbilt explaining that he wanted to lean into the defensive side of the ball now the Lakers won that night in a shootout 129 to 120 which would end their losing streak thanks in part to a season High 40 points from LeBron James

However that’s same starting unit got off to a slow start in their next game against the Boston Celtics as they lost at home to their historic Arch rivals on Christmas day they bounced back by throttling the hapless Charlotte Hornets before things would get so much worse on

His 39th birthday LeBron hit what in real time looked like a game tying three against Minnesota but it was ultimately ruled to two the ruling was even confirmed by the League’s replay Center sparking this reaction from LeBron James who pointed out the distance between his foot and the three-point line he

Eviscerated the play center after the game super frustrating in the sense of what the hell we got Replay for what do we have Replay for if even a replay gets it wrong then it’s like like who who’s who’s who’s a part of the replay Center like we got robots

In there that making the test this what’s going on as a result the Lakers lost by two against the team with the West’s best record and LeBron james’ 39th birthday was spoiled they went to New Orleans the next night on New Year’s Eve and the home team hadn’t forgotten

The Beatdown La put on them in Las Vegas the Pelicans LED for nearly the entire night exacting a bit of Revenge handing the Lakers a 20-point loss that prompted yet another change to the rotation as Austin Reeves was reinserted into the starting lineup replacing Jared Vanderbilt for their next game against

The Miami Heat but Miami playing without Jimmy Butler LED for almost the entire game as they coasted past the Lakers inept offense 110 to 96 and this would lead us to the bombshell report that would without a doubt alter the trajectory of the Lakers season the very

Next day sham sh dropped an exclusive report on the discontent surrounding Darvin Ham’s lineup decisions and this isn’t that far-fetched so far there’s been no consistency in the rotation in the article Tran says that six sources which is an AI specific number of sources to site said that Ham’s

Decisions to drastically change the starting lineup and rotation have caused a rift between the coach and the locker room their starting five against the Miami Heat was their 10th different starting lineup this season and third different one in three games the decision to bench D’Angelo Russell against OKC leaving the starters without

A secondary ball handler puzzled many in the organization the team resigned D’Angelo Russell ruy haimura and Austin Reeves making them their third fourth and fifth highest players respectively which is great but all three of these players are coming off of the bench D’Angelo Russell’s role has shrunk since the inseason championship hachimura’s

Playing time has varied wildly and Austin Reeves has been benched for most of the Season even though Darin ham said that he was destined to be an All-Star this season the frustration was expressed much more publicly after the following game in a back and forth home game against Memphis the Lakers

Struggled down the stretch scoring just 19 points in the fourth quarter 30o games from LeBron and AD weren’t enough as the Memphis Grizzlies beat the LA Lakers 127 to 113 the Lakers fourth straight loss dropped them to 3 and 10 since the inseason tournament and 17 and

19 on the season and remember two of those wins were against the Hornets and the Spurs the difference in responses from ham and LeBron James highlights some of the disconnect between the coach and players that’s been plaguing the team for most of the Season NBA man this is a

Marathon and you know you have to look at the totality of the picture I’m tired of people living and dying with every single game we play I be like it’s it’s it’s ludicrous actually it’s like come on man this is aeric marathon and we’re hitting we hit a tough stretch you know

It’s the same team that you know we played some high level games a little while ago and we just got to get back to that we got to keep the fight though we cannot lose our fight that was just two that was just two games though that’s a small sample everybody’s getting so

Cracked up about Vegas and keep bringing up Vegas it was two games I mean we we took care of that business that was n Season tournament we played we won it but it was literally just two games were the cracks were the the problems that have presented themselves

Over the last 13 games were they showing do you think prior to that to this stretch I don’t know I don’t really I don’t know I have I’m not thinking that far to in the past to be honest may we just suck right now so with all these problems what do the

Lakers do to solve it since the start of the LeBron James Anthony Davis era the Lakers biggest obstacle to contending year in and year out was the availability of LeBron James and Anthony Davis but this season has challenged that notion as of the making of this video the Lakers are currently 11th in

The west despite the fact that they’ve had either LeBron James or Anthony Davis playing each and every game in fact they’ve combined to miss just five games all season long which has been a spectacular feat and when you take a look at Anthony Davis’s season alone this is his longest stretch of

Consistently playing in a very very long time LeBron James is no longer the player he once was at the peak of his powers LeBron James consistently is challenging the laws of physics a man that is supposed to be extremely past his Prime at the age of 39 has been

Spectacular in his 21st season he’s shooting nearly 40% from three for the season a Mark that he’s only achieved once in his career but even with these two playing at an elite level the Lakers have struggled this season on offense they ranked 20th in scoring and only 23rd in offensive rating while owning

One of the top 10 worst net ratings in the NBA in the past LeBron’s teams have made a concerted effort to surround him with shooting and the crazy part of all is the Lakers actually made an effort to do that this past off season players like D’Angelo Russell and torian Prince

Especially torian prince who has hit 39% of his threes this season despite that shooting isn’t a primary strength for most of the roster as a result the Lakers have the seventh worst three-point percentage in the league they attempt the fewest threes per game and only the Detroit Pistons average

Fewer made threes this makes Darin Ham’s decision to ultimately bench his opening night starting back in favor of poor shooters even more puzzling additionally all of this talk of prioritizing continuity goes out of the window when the team rides with players who just joined in the offseason over

The ones that they’ve had recent success with in the playoffs not to mention they’re also the players that Lakers have made a bigger Financial commitment to it almost seems like the Lakers have too many playable guys giving darham too many options for the rotation the Lakers

Might need to trade away some of those players who are upset with their inconsistent roles in favor of higher profile offensive players Pascal seak Zack LaVine and Deonte Murray are all players who fit the bill and who would help give the team a more concrete starting unit that wouldn’t require as

Many tweaks they could always just fire Darin ham and blame the coach just as the six sources indicated to Shams but look at LeBron’s recent history as it indicates Los Angeles may have a greater chance at turning their season around in a trade as opposed to firing their coach

After an uneven start the 2017 to 2018 Cavaliers traded about a third of their roster around the 2018 trade deadline thanks to a new new rotation and superhuman play from LeBron James those Cavaliers made it all the way to the NBA finals last season the Lakers did something similar when they ended the

Toxic Russell Westbrook era built a new rotation with in season trades and then made a run to the Conference Finals Lakers and LeBron each have a history of favoring major changes and we suck right now is a pretty strong indication that LeBron James is open to the idea again

Based on their recent play it seems like a matter of when not if change comes to Los Angeles the only thing left to wonder is which Laker player or coach will be in the next push alert on a sham Str tweet let me know in the comment

  1. I don't see enough lakers games how bad James defense has been during this bad stretch or is that just James bashers pointing it out.

  2. D lo more minutes. Lakers cant be great at both defense and offense. be great at one, decent at the other

  3. Every time I watch another video on another team that's struggling and see those team advanced analytics, I sit here losing my mind laughing at how wild it is to look at my Blazers, and then the fucking Pistons, and wonder, how in the flying fuck can the league's WORST team, at least by record, has BETTER advanced analytics with ratings than my also atrocious Blazers team. How the fuck is that even possible?! hahaahhaha, leave it to the Blazers to figure out how to pull that kind of shit off man. We really are masochists, Blazers fans.
Anyway, seems like it's becoming time for the Slippers to take over from the Slackers as LA's premier team for awhile. At this point, I think it's gonna happen.

  4. LOL love how he had to make this irrelevant video to distract these simple Laker fans from the absolute circus of a game that was played against the Raptors last night. Absolutely one of the worst, most corrupt games officiated all season. Anyone who watched that game whos a BASKETBALL fan, not a lebron fanboy or lakers bandwagon, was disgusted by the league and their officiating. Its so obvious how hard this league is trying to push this trash team up. It will be such a great day when this fraud retires and we can get legitimate games again. 36 to 15 free throw discrepancy for the Lakers. all while Raptors owned them in almost every single stat. 70 points in the paint, beat the lakers in transition, were the more aggressive team, but only got 15 free throws. Screw this corrupt garbage league, and the fans who think this kind of BS is ok because their fraud GOAT won. Pathetic

  5. I’m scared that most of the time getting cocky because of their in tournament championship hope the get back on track

  6. Lakers DO have a major problem. And that problem is that last night, Tue Jan 9, 2024, it was made painfully obvious that the refs are in their pocket. Now they have to find new ways to cheat to win games.

  7. They need to hit up the nets for some real defensive perimeter guy like dfs and Royce, don’t make super changes just fix where the problems are, plus dfs and Royce are 3 nd players … REAL ONES

  8. The lakers should just trade Lebron James already and keep adding Davis. Get some draft picks, get a All Star player would get rid of Lebron James. He's ruining that organization. Every time he plays general manager. He ends up f**** up the organization. He leaves them in rumbles.

  9. Trade LeBrony the crybaby pony or keep him on the bench. Dude is a literal fucking boat anchor. Cries at every play, gets carried and coddled by his team mates. Its time to take out the trash.

  10. Darvin Ham can't handle the spotlight that the Lakers have by a game by game basis. His frustration reflects upon his players.
The Lakers are a mess internally and LeBron and Darvin are showing it externally. It's just a shitshow right now.

  11. LeBron & AD have been playing well. It's the rest of the guys stinking it up! We should have resigned Schroeder!!!
D Lo needs to be traded ASAP!!!!

  12. It just sounds like the coaching is bad right now and injuries are hurting them if you do trade reeves and rui are untouchable

  13. I just can't watch these videos. You have to fast forward to half way throigh to get to the actual topic.

  14. Does appear to me they have line up issues more than coach problems. The individual pieces are good but just aren't clicking. Look forward to seeing what they do around the deadline

  15. Sorry Mike, your team isn’t going anywhere near the championship. Every company, organisation and department has resources limitation. Every working adult has to deal with this reality. When there were disagreements, mature people would work with the management to find solutions as a team. Yes, there definitely were times when managements were stubborn and would not listen. Then came the next best thing to do. Take a deep breath, worked within the constraints and carried the team on their back to success. These people called Stars. Those very best among the Stars are the Superstars. For the Lakers, I would say AD was absolutely your Supterstar. On the other hand, immature people would complain and look for way out. And sad to say, when your very same team which had SIX individuals leaking displeasure with the team and complaining about “individual developments”, it showed more than just immaturity among players. It also reflected a horrible organisational culture. Cultures had to be enforced from top-down & embraced by the Stars. From what everyone can see, the steps in building a positive organisational culture were not in place. To win a championship in this state, the odds are not in your favour.

  16. Every LeBron team looks just like this. Lack of patience. Lack of any real court leadership. Revolving lineups. Trade rumors. Crazy. How a 🐐 always need help🤔

  17. I think ratings will begin to go up once lebron retires. New fans will continue to watch. Lebron fans are obviously use to bad basketball, so they’ll continue to watch. And you’ll prob earn back a ton of the fans that wrote off watching the nba until that diva retires.

  18. The Lakers have no assets to acquire a player or players that could help them, and the players who could help them do not want to play with LeBron.

  19. They're talking about firing Darvin for Doc Rivers instead lol😅. Couldn't be any closer to swapping for the same coach. Maybe worse and not even the problem.

  20. This has been an issue we are not a good team it’s just what it is AD is playing great and we are still losing and LBJ’s impact is just not the same
