[Woj] The Grizzlies are waiving center Bismack Biyombo, sources tell ESPN. He made a good impact with franchise and could be brought back again. Memphis is expected to add another big on a newly available two-way contract.

This is an easy pickup. The Lakers need to sign him today.

  2. PairedFoot08

    I’d definitely take him

Worry he’d end up completely taking Woods minutes though, don’t want to see any AD/LBJ/Cam/Biyombo type lineups

  3. He’s so good that we missed out on signing him and got waived from a team that played him regular mins. Hmmm

  4. BritzlBen

Better than Hayes. He rebounds and kind of defends. Hayes fouls and jumps out of position.

  5. Pelinka i think you are a very smart person. Lets pls waive hayes and bring Biyombo which shouldve done 4 months ago

Biyombo would be a good pickup. But shouldn’t take any of woods minutes. Play Wood as PF next to him and watch magic happen

We’ve kept the 15th roster spot for this reason

Sign Biz and use Hayes as salary filler in a trade. Easy call

Great opportunity to bring in an experienced center that can bang in the paint and gives us another dimension of play.

If Hayes gets cut I can see him going to the Clippers. They need a lob threat like him.

sign him now. He’d be great on this team.

Feel like Phoenix or Boston will end up with him.

  13. Lakers better sign him. All he has to do is box out, set hard screens and deter/block shots at the rim.

Omg if we don’t pick him up ASAP we don’t want to win!

The closest thing to a Dwight today, in terms of talent/cost

  15. No-Equipment-20

Sheesh I didn’t expect Grizzlies to waive him. Definitely a solid backup big if AD misses a game

A team with a glaring need for a center just cut him. And he didn’t get signed until well into the regular season.

This isn’t 2k, he’s not gonna impact like you think.

  17. I think he would be a nice add with the last roster spot, but we’re not going to do it. The front office has shown they prefer to keep that last spot open. That makes sense going into the trade deadline. Also waiving Hayes makes no sense since we’re already so close to the hard cap. He’s salary filler at this point.
