I literally can’t see a single argument against this signing. It’s like among the easiest decisions you will make in your GM career.
The only way against it would be if you already had a trade for a better back-up big lined up, but we all know that’s not the case.

Is Kidd going to play him? If yes, then sign him up. If not, then don’t bother. Being an ex-PG, I think Kidd has a type and only likes high BBIQ big guys (Lively, Powell, Kleber). Not familar with Biyombo so I’m not sure if he fits that criteria.

As perfect as it can get for a vet min signing at this point, yes.
Would add some much needed paint presence on the second unit, and probably could even be decently effective with Luka setting Gortat screens for him.
However, since the Mavs didn’t seem to have any interest in him before, I’d be surprised if he ends up here, especially since now there will likely be more teams interested in his services.
