What’s going on everybody welcome into the Bulls report here by Chad Sports my name is Patrick seatman and welcome in we got a bombshell report coming in from W last night before the Bulls Nicks matchup as he said that the Bulls want to find Zack LaVine a trade destination

Ahead of the NBA trade deadline so all the rumors that we have heard around the Bulls wanting to ship out LaVine he pretty much doubled down on them and pretty much guaranteed or at least stated out that the Bulls are looking to trade LaVine before the deadline and

Then also we’re going to be diving into overall the Bulls Knicks game as why I think kind of this I don’t want to say like magical run that they had with Kobe white shooting his ass off and kind of when they started off um kind of the

Post zovine era um when they were like 10 and six and everything why I do think it’s almost a reality check and it’s back to reality for the Chicago BS so just kind of diving in to that game last night versus the Knicks but let’s start

Off with the report report from W where he said the Bulls do want to trade Zack LaVine and obviously the Bulls want to trade Zack LaVine but I’ve always been skeptical and you guys know this of them finding a trade destination and you know we’ve heard teams the Los Angeles Lakers

The Miami Heat the New York Knicks as teams that would uh be interested in Zack Len but honestly now if I’m looking at this right now if you are one of those teams I think they would be more interested in a guy like demard de R

Roan than LaVine I know you might be saying whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa demard R Roan 35 years old he’s on an expiring deal why would they choose him over the young Zack oen who you can have locked up for the next three seasons well I

Think if you are the heat Lakers or Knicks and you could get Demar de r rozan on that one-year rental and he is a more proven playoff score more proven playoff player than Zack oen I think he would be more of a kind of enticing option for those teams and plus if you

Think about it um those teams are looking for tertiary scores they’re looking for another guy that can give them a boost whether it’s Off the Bench or when their main guys are out of the game to kind of run the offense I would trust dear in those playoff situations

In comparison to Zack oen and I think the other teams would as well so we did also hear that w a couple days ago did say that the trade market is Barren for Zack aine there’s not really that big of a trade market and I kind of agree I

Think if line gets traded I’m calling this right now there are two teams that I think could kind of be aggressive and go getting them I guess I’ll make it three I think it could be the San Antonio Spurs they are the Darkhorse team where it’s just kind of a gut

Feeling for myself that they may be saying hey you know what we have this generational talent in wemi let’s go get him a scoring guard next to him just like with the what the Nuggets did with yic and Murray and what the Sixers have done with embiid and Maxi and then

Another team I think maybe the Indiana Pacers could be calling maybe they want more of a true scoring guard next to Tyrese halberton and just kind of up their over overall offense offensive you know output and you know they’re already one of the best offensive teams in the

League and one of the worst defensive teams in the league so I don’t know if they would kind of want to go all in on offense and just kind of ignore the defensive side of the floor but I think they could maybe call and also maybe the

Sacramento Kings I think the kings are a sneaky team as well if they want to upgrade that two spot go from a guy like Malik monk upgrade it to a guy like Zack aine maybe that’s the decision that they tried to make but overall I don’t think

Many of these contenders are going to be you know foaming at the mouth to get him like you know he has lowest win percentage out of any player in NBA history who’s played a certain amount of games and you know obviously he has been dealt some bad hands but you know he is

A reason for that it also kind of gets me back to this um that I’ve said a lot and I don’t know if I’ve really said this on this channel before but you know everybody with a piston situation everybody likes to kind of say oh Kade Cunningham it’s it’s not his fault at

All get Kade out of there free Kade and all this and you know I get that he has not been dealt a good hand whatsoever but you are still the one option you are supposed to El at your teammates as the main guy and LaVine has never shown an

Ability to do to do that throughout an NBA career and you also saw the Bulls just get this ultimate spark when he went out of the lineup like it was immediately the next game when the Bulls started flying around a little more on defense moving the ball more getting

Teams in rotation just a little bit more and I think that was directly correlated to that spark you would get when LaVine was out of the lineup so again I think it’s time for the Bulls to move on from and I probably agree with W that they do

Want to trade him but you got to have to the tango and I don’t know if a contender is going to call for him and give up maybe a first round pick I just I just really think it’s unlikely so I think if LaVine is going to be dealt

I’ve thrown this out there many times I think the Spurs could be a dark hor and obviously it wouldn’t be a trade for the Spurs where they’re going all in on this year but you’re going to make life on Victor one Bama a lot easier I think it

Makes sense do what the Nuggets did with joic and found his Jamal Murray just like with what the Sixers did with embiid and found his Tyrese Maxi I think they could be looking to do the same thing with wemi so we’re going to be kind of going over the terrible Nicks

They were able to cause some Havoc defensively Force the Knicks into 13 first half turnovers and I’ll say you know whatever you think about the Bulls team they have good defensive guards and that’s been their backbone this year and it’s honestly a big reason why they are

Are you know a 13- win team instead of a you know they probably should be a seven- win team but I do want to say this and um kind of gets me into this point about just being sellers at the deadline is you know we saw the Bulls

When LaVine went out you know they went on this 10- six run over the first 16 games and they look good you know they’re playing better basketball and I think they kind of got that boost where it was like okay our main score is out

We’re going to get more shots we got to up our game and I think that’s just natural as a basketball player to kind of you know you know obviously play better when you obviously have to up your usage and just your you get more minutes but when other teams this a

Counterpoint to it when you play a couple weeks and teams are able to scout you a little more Kobe white for example he played good last night but the three games before that it was Back to Reality for Kobe white and it was Back to Reality for a guy like Patrick Williams

IO Duma who I love them as just young building pieces as I think they could be really good role players on a team that can win a lot of games down the line but I will say I think it was just a huge reality check over the past two nights

After getting blown out out in Philly and then getting blown out in New York the following night and I I get it those are two tough places to play a lot of teams going into those two buildings and get blown out and they didn’t have Vu obviously no LaVine but LaVine you know

He’s going to get shipped out here soon enough but I just think it’s overall time ship V off to maybe the Grizzlies we heard they could want them and I actually wouldn’t hate the idea of the Grizzlies trading for V you kind of get that offensive center next to a jiren

Jackson I think that’s honestly one of the only situations in the NBA where I can see B on a winning team and being impactful would be Memphis but as much as I love Caruso man it uh it really pains me watching him play for the Bulls

Because he deserves to be playing in a big time playoff atmosphere and just diving on the floor for loose balls doing the little things you know creating when he plays and just being a spark plug for a playoff team got to you got to get him out of there too and I’m
