[Dave Early] Chris Haynes says Philly and Indiana are prime teams in Siakim watch

“The people I’ve spoken to, rival executives, all of the above, they believe that they, Pascal and the #Raptors are on the verge of parting ways….Philly, Indiana they are prime teams to look out for.” -Chris Haynes

  1. I’ll take anyone at this point. I will pretend like I wanted Siakam all along. Is he better than Tobias on defense?

I don’t think he is really the answer but hell at this point I am bored and just want to see a move. I think he is an upgrade from the assassin and Nurse knows how to utilize his strengths.

    Wow that’s great, I still don’t want him 😅

  4. We are finally about to get rid of the Tobias contract and Morey is gonna trade for Siakam and then sign him to a max contract in the offseason?

Who knows, but I don’t see this happening tbh.

  5. I really don’t see how siakam takes this team to the next level… I’d rather try to sign someone in free agency

  6. I hope Morey is smarter than that

Siakan is noy only a “meh” “star”, but cant be a 3rd option, cant shoot or defend. Absolutely terrible fit

Ugh. Does he at least play well against Boston?

    Fuck

  8. Cahoots01

I’ll take it as long as siakam stops with that terrible groan EVERY drive

  9. This wont happen, pacers have better assets and unfortunately I dont think this FO is interested in siakam, but siakam, murray, or lavine would be a good 3rd option this team clearly needs

I’d love to be in a 3 team with the raptors and pacers tho … 👀

I very much don’t like it. We need more shooting, not less. If we can somehow get away with paying him little enough to keep a max slot open in free agency there is some room for discussion though.

Maxey/Melton/max slot/Siakim/Embiid with Oubre/Reed/backup pg could be a genuine contender

  12. What’s funny is that I don’t mind him as a player (flying elbows aside), but his fit is terrible.

Kawhi already resigned, PG is resigning, we aint got nobody left

  14. Brokromah

Does this make him more or less likely to break Embiid’s face? I suppose more likely because Raptors won’t be making the playoffs.

Would be a huge mistake. Horrible fit next to Embiid.
