    STILL ON TRACK FOR 52-30

2 Game winning streak!!!! POR VIDA BABAYYYYY

    Go Spurs Go!

    **Pros**

    * WEMBY!! 26pts/11reb/2blks in only TWENTY minutes of play in a dominant performance despite the minutes restriction. 3pt shot looks better, handle is under more control while bringing the ball up the court, making good reads on offense, etc. Getting better each game, which should be a scary thought for the rest of the league.
    * Barlow once again did the best he could in the minutes he got, especially on the defensive end. For someone who was undrafted and currently on a two-way, Barlow has made a lot of progress in a relatively short amount of time
    * Wesley bringing defensive intensity once again, including a nice steal and breakaway dunk midway through the 4th
    * McDermott draining 3s in the 2nd quarter, helping the team build a 21pt lead by halftime
    * Solid contributions from pretty much everyone else, including guys like Graham, Mamu, and Diakite

    **Cons**

    * McDermott right ankle injury from a reckless Smith Jr. closeout on a 3PA
    * TOs – some were right idea, poor execution. Others were a bit sloppy, but the good news is that a lot of them can easily get cleaned up

    **Overall**

Since Jones returned to the starting lineup, this team has had two close games against the Bucks, Cavs, and were finally rewarded with a win against the Pistons. Tonight, the team continued to build on that momentum with another outstanding performance. Seems like this team is finally putting it together game by game.

    **Looking Forward**

With Wemby likely sitting out this 2nd night of a B2B, we’ll be back tomorrow night hosting the Bulls, who will also be coming in off a 2nd night of a B2B. Hopefully the team will be fresh tomorrow with a lot of our guys getting a chance to sit the 4th quarter tonight.

Using the proper lineup is actually too good. I hope we don’t ruin our tank just to appease the new “fans” who want pop fired because he’s focused on future championships rather than this year’s play-in. These people have no understanding of our system and the patience it takes, because they just want to see Wemby do the kewl ball dunkings

What a game. Loved the crisp ball movement. Especially, in the second half.

[Vote here](https://vote.nba.com/en) for the all star game. Today counts triple! Strategically, don’t vote for other players near him in votes.

We ran a victory lineup for almost a whole quarter tonight . Besides the fact it’s a back to back game day it just doesn’t get better than that

  7. Ians_Life

Wemby with 26 points 11 boards in 20 minutes is absurd. I would be astonished if he didn’t win ROTY

  8. GGs fellas! Fantastic game, got some good from everybody. Really strange though that feed cut out for the first part of that first quarter, anyone know what happened there?

That 9 point stretch in the 3rd….

  10. The first 5 mins of the 3rd quarter was the best we’ve looked all season. Who woulda thunk that would be a reality

  11. I think that bucks game a turning point for this team. Like one where the team realized they can compete. They’ve played completely different since like it gave them a sense of belonging. Not setting any expectations besides the tone and play style they’ve been playing.

  12. Debestauro

Not a good look for zach collins. To me this team is worse than detroit. Doesnt matter, GSG!!!!!!!

  13. TheUnamedFeels

The Spurs are 3-1 in games that I watch with my mom while downing drinks the whole game (disclaimer: we only get to watch together on Fridays lol)

  14. Ians_Life

It’s over when Wemby minute restriction is lifted. He’s gotten so much more experience during this

  15. blue-anon

    Dangit, no Vic tomorrow.

*ETA: Or for the next back to back after this. Pop said his re-evaluation will probably happen in a week and a half or so.

  16. rattatatouille

We’re starting to see what PATFO envisioned after winning the lottery. It’s still gonna take some time to really get consistent, but the team has been on a generally upward trend especially after we solidified our lineups.

Pop in locker room today securing the bottom 3 spot – now that even minute restrictions can’t hold Wemby back

  18. notcool_dood

With enough playing time and confidence, I can see Wesley fill in the defensive gap that Dejounte left.

  19. whynotletitfly6

The answer is clearly for me to be busy in the first half like I have been the past two games, wow what a performance
