We play the most rookie minutes of any NBA team this season.

With 130 games cumulatively, we play the most games and minutes with our rookies.

We are supposed to be bad. Do any of you really expect a team who plays this many rookies to be good? While y’all argue Chauncey didn’t play the rooks in the 4th of a blowout it’s clear that he is playing rookies more than any coach in the NBA.

I’m not for or against coach Billups because I personally don’t fully understand the intricacies of a NBA offense. However, if we’re playing that many rookies all the time, a consistent offense and defense is just not going to happen.

The sub has been all pitchforks and torches for a season that unsurprisingly is supposed to be bad.

Take a breath, relax it’s just a game. I look forward to the process of becoming a good team and the lottery picks that come with it.

Chauncey’s been bad the entire time he’s been here. He does need to go.

But I agree with you a bit, it’s really hard to fire a coach under these current roster circumstances especially with the injuries. Even tho people here will probably not accept this reasoning, but if you fire a coach during a stretch where he’s only really got rookies prospective coaches absolutely will consider this. Coaching is a club and they stick up for their dudes.

I feel like once ayton returns if we can’t right the ship AT ALL he has to go. If not I hope he goes this offseason.

  2. Even if we get dame and Giannis, I’m never going to trust billups. He has no schemes man

I’m finna start /r/ripcityreducedspasticity for less emotional and / or knee-jerky Blazer discussion.

Not really but you get the sentiment.

I understand the sentiment, but the last couple weeks have been pretty disheartening with the way we’ve been getting boat raced every game. I want to see some progression.

  5. Most of these fans have never experienced this level of bad.

It takes most NBA players at least a year or so to understand how to play/win in this league.

  6. A sober, realistic and grounded post on this sub? (Looks outside) it really IS freezing over…

Tired of all these dogshit preachy posts. Fans are gonna be upset with getting blown out every night. Deal with it and stop crying about it

It hilarious when someone makes a preachy posts like this and says “guys it’s just a game don’t be mad!” Like no shit Sherlock. You’re essentially just saying we should stop caring.

Everyone DID know we were gonna be bad. Very bad. But a team with Anfernee Simon’s, Shaedon Shapre, Jerami Grant, DeAndre Ayton, #3 overall pick should not be getting blown out by 60. This blazers team the past 2 months have been HISTORICALLY BAD. So bad that with this pace, we would be one of the worst teams of all time. Also when you’re losing by 60 so you play almost an entire half with the likes of Kris Murray and Ryan Rupert, not exactly a fair comparison for “most rookie minutes played.”
