This Could PREVENT a Siakam Trade…

A new report reveals a key reason that could prevent a pascal cakam trade from happening so we’re going to discuss this the key teams involved and whether or not it’s the right move for Messi you Jerry to either push through and make this trade despite all the potential

Roadblocks or keep them sign them to a long-term extension and how all that will look so lots of stuff to dive into in this video and if you want to stay up to date with all of the latest Toronto Raptors news subscribe to the channel over 57% of our viewers are not

Subscribed so mean the world to me if you guys could hit that subscribe button so we can keep you up to date with everything surrounding this Toronto Raptors team and again my my sore throat has gotten worse over the past couple days so apologies if I’m sounding weird

Again on this video but we have a lot of things to dive into because Jake fiser summarized kind of everything that’s been going on regarding Pascal cakam in over the past week and reeled some key details which might be leading to some of the back and forth reports that are

Going on in the media and could potentially prevent a pascal cakam trade from going down so let’s dive into this report directly so basically with cakam and several teams uh several teams continue to Value Toronto Raptor lanking playmaker Sacramento Indiana Detroit and Dallas Mark for four suitors that NBA

Executives keep listing as active buyers that have explored Avenues to land cakam but for any interested party like with Murray’s Hawk cakam this past summer or even struggling uh the struggling Gordon State Warriors who have discuss cakam internally sources have said any front office acquiring cakam has to sign ific

Anly weigh the clear messaging from cakam side of this equation so what does that mean it means if a deal is going to go down and this is something that has been echoed a lot by reporters across the league now at this point given siakam’s unrestricted free agency

Siakam’s input and how open he would be to resigning with the team has to be taken into account and really has major sway in terms what teams are going to be willing to offer Toronto if a potential deal were to go through so basically cakam has so all that stuff he has he

Holds a direct path to unrestricted free agency this summer and could simply walk to the highest B bidder on the open market just as his former teammate Fred Van vet did for Houston in June siakam’s group according to leak sources do feel confident that a similar top dollar

Offers will be available to the 29-year-old uh has well-rounded into All-Star form as Toronto’s offense is featured Scotty burns zakum doesn’t appear to have any interest in the 2-year extend mention that he could sign after being dealt this season compared to the maximum long-term contract he

Plans to command as a free agent so again a lot of similar to things to what we’ve been hearing you know the new stuff comes in the second part of this sort of report but basically teams are weighing whether or not they can sign him long term cakam has no interest in

Signing that contract extension with any sort of group The Mavericks the Pistons the Pacers the Kings the Warriors he doesn’t want to sign a two-year contract he wants to cash in on his sort of peak value you know this is the prime of his career to receive one of those lucrative

Contracts so again it completely makes sense what he’s doing he’s not holding the tonal Raptor hostage if you had the opportunity to make2 200 plus million dollars for Five Seasons I mean you would do it as well so that’s kind of C aam’s approach right he wants that sort

Of max deal out there in free agency so you know he’s not going to sign extension he’s not going to do anything like that and teams need to weigh that risk in him entering that free agency period the Raptors obviously given the fact he’s been on this team we have all

Of his rights we could offer him that five-year Max now here now at this point so I mean that’s what cakam wants that’s what he is looking for and that’s what teams are sort of weighing the pros and cons of them whether or not they’d be

Able to keep them but what does that mean for the Toronto Raptor side of things because this isn’t really new this is more information regarding you know the Pistons the Kings the Mavs and all these types of fans Raptors seem to be in the same spot well Jake fiser ends

Up coming down and breaking down that a trade can certainly be reached over the coming weeks but for all of those complications rival executives are prepared for the possibility that cakam could remain in Toronto where the Raptors would have to consider extending him the parameters surrounding a cakam

Trade aren’t going to change why should any team risk sending out valuable rotation players and draft capital for a veteran who could simply uh net out half as a half Season Rental and why should a team uh projected to have cap space that believes that they can be lucky B biders

To land cakam come June 30th sacrifice anything similar both Indiana and Detroit will will have serious room to play this summer so will Philadelphia with siakam’s former head coach Nick nurse Manning the bench and League Personnel pinning the Sixers as another free agency Boogeyman to scare off the

Cakam trade deadline bids so that’s the key part in this whole article the key new revelation is that League executives are looking at the Pistons they’re looking at the Indiana Pacers and they are looking at the Philadelphia 76ers as quote boogey men to come out here and snatch away Pascal cakam and

Unrestricted free agency if another team were were to sort of acquire him because as the first part this first paragraph sort of laid out siakam’s entering free agency if he gets traded to another team now does that mean he’s immediately going to leave no he might go to a

Golden State Warriors they go back to their Championship Dynasty relevancy and then you know there’s no reason for him to leave the Warriors give all that money y y it’s not saying he’s guaranteed going to leave but he’s definitely going to enter that unrestricted free agency sort of Mark

Market so then those risks come in those boogy men come into play because the six years with Tobias Harris’s contract sort of uh getting off the books of season they’re going to have much more cap space this off season obviously the Pistons just have a horrible team don’t

Have B any big contracts really so they’re going to have a lot of money and could potentially throw a massive bag of Pascal the Pacers again are a younger group so there’s a lot of money to be had from those three teams in unrestricted free agency the summer so

They could come in and make a serious offer for pass askal sakam if he ends up hitting that market for a team that does acquire him even if they’re confident in bringing him back even if they believe wholeheartedly that seak would fit perfectly with their rosters their teams

That there is that risk that you’re weighing and giving up significant draft Capital to or draft capital and player capital in terms of acquiring Pascal right that’s a major risk if another team can kind of swoop in and just take him away you know be the Boogeyman in

These potential packages and I mean Pascal seak is getting that Max his team is confident he’s getting it looking at his performances I mean 22 points per game six rebounds five assists now up to 31% from the three-point line has been a lot better as of late still under over

29 years old Pascal is I mean he is going to get a Max contract out there in free agency so it makes sense for teams to be worried especially even if they’re willing to give him that deal because I don’t think any team would trade for him

Unwilling to give him a 5-year Max extension I mean he’s made it known that he’s not signing a short-term deal he is taking that big bag from whatever team ends up signing him this offseason but no team would end up acquiring him if that deal doesn’t end up going through

But other teams also could be dishing out that money so it seems like the offers will be less so for a pascal seak now we heard same things about OG ad anobi and then we were able to get Emanual quickly and RJ Barrett and a really good draft C draft pick you know

From the New York Knicks so Messiah jury still has his ways but again we know what messiou jury’s game plan is we know his approach to all this type of stuff he is not going to get n he is not going to take a subpar package like Fred Van

He’ll let cakam walk probably before he takes sort of a lackluster deal in return for the Raptor’s top guy so don’t think for a second the Raptors are going to be taking back some bad packages maybe it’s the cas maybe they get desperate enough and seeum indicates he

Wants to leave and then C Messiah Jerry has no choice but I would be shocked if he takes El laeser package and as fiser sort of indicates it’s likely that an extension is probably coming given this major roadblock that could and which is pretty well preventing it’s could it

Could prevent a pascal seak trade this is the main reason specifically the Sixers I mean our team the Sixers and the Pacers are two teams you know the Pistons I don’t think uh that’s basketball Purgatory I don’t think I think seak can take a pay cut somewhere

Else to knock out the Detroit Pistons but the Pacers and the Sixers are two good teams in the Eastern Conference with Bright Futures could be an interesting fit again the relationship with Nick Nur seemed a little bit weird I don’t want to say rocky but was a

Little bit weird ending off but I don’t know let me know what you guys think who you think the the biggest threat out of these three teams with cap space is off season to steal away Pascal cakam but I remain of The Stance I pretty well save

It on every Pascal seak and video we’ve done as of late I want to retain him I want to keep him his contract is going to be valuable two years down the line one year down the line if you do want to trade him in the future but he’s a

Valuable piece that can fit this Scotty Barnes this younger group timeline mixes the sort of core groups he’s not old and wash by any means messai jiri pay this man and let’s uh let’s figure it out from there but let me know what you guys think in the comments section down below

You guys the best for make it this far subscribe to the channel if you guys haven’t already I’m signing up cheers

  1. I doubt any team will offer Pascal a 5 year max contract. Lets keep in mind that Kawhi who's 32 just signed a 3 year, 150 million contract. You think league GM'S haven't noticed that. I doubt that Pascal at 32 would be Kawhi at 32. Just saying. I guess we'll see.

  2. I wonder if siakam is close with fred. If they are close i would be very very worry. The reason why we got jakob is because of fred . But he on the other hand use jakob boost his number . Use the team for leverage and get max money to goto houston. Siakam is doing the same. Use raptors for leverage

  3. I never thought I'd see a day where the Jays are the best managed toronto team, by a lot. I legit hate masai and Shanny.

  4. honestly I see the pacers or dallas as his best places to go either teaming up with tyrese in indi or luka and kyrie in dallas though (id still like to know what packages we could get from sac/det) I just think pacers/mavericks are his best fit out of the four

  5. Will somebody in the Raptors organization please enlighten me as to why the Knicks went 8 minutes without scoring versus the trailblazers two days ago. Everyone I talk to is dumbfounded.

  6. Trade him to miami for Lowry, Jovic and two first round picks. Lowry can be a mentor to Quickley. Trade Thaddeus to he can get us a late first round pick too and Boucher too. Celtics want Boucher give us your late pick. GTJ hopefully resigns team friendly deal. Otto I would resign he's a good mentor won a championship so lets keep him. Trade Dennis for a back up Center.
    Quickley
    RJ
    Jovic
    Barnes
    Poetle
    Not bad.

  7. Wonder if Pistons are dumb enough to trade for Pascal for Harris, Morris and Thompson. Thompson immediately fills OG's defence we lost. And Darko helps him with his shot.

  8. Can't make the same mistake as with Freddy. Masai needs check his pride and acquire as many assets as possible for Siakam. There's gonna be big money waiting for him in free agency, someone will hugely over-spend (ala Freddy); and the franchise can not afford losing another pissing match involving a franchise player

  9. Does anyone think he is just saying he wants to stay to get biggest deal then ask for a trade because he is moving toward 3rd option next year so he pouts and does the Carter.

  10. MU should just offer 4 years $181 now if PS or his reps decline you trade for best offer ASAP. In fact you have the offer on the go. This way you know what you have with team and move GTJ for best depth pieces. Hopefully Dick can become something next year as that would save some money.

  11. He is absolutely holding this team hostage. Why tell teams he won’t resign with them? He’ll still hit free agency even if traded. He can then sign with whoever.

Total prick move. Masai saved him from being a priest to a millionaire and now this??

  12. All a lot of silly rumors and more speculation is all I hear again and again over and over nothing really new to chew on. It's clear Siakam is going to go after the money. He's going to try to pad his stats this year, regardless of the wins/losses and try to hog the ball like FVV did in his last year. Hopefully Darko will see through this and the other players and play basketball to win, not baskeball for Siakam. MU should try to get something for Pascal before the deadline – that is my personal opinion. He cannot trust Pascal to sign when he is a free agent as he and anyone else will go where the $ is. If Pascal wants to test the free agency market then he goes and doesn't sign with us at a fair rate. If he or his agent thinks he is a real superstar worth $200M and luxury taxes etc. … go right ahead and do it… there is no loss for Pascal to do this… teams will get into a bidding war for him, and Toronto too… but statistically, we may not get him and he may want too much for us. We can move on with other options if he goes. We can only control what we do as a team, we cannot control Pascal or his agent. We can't control other teams offers either. All MU can do is try to make the best deal he can. If Pascal is dead set against signing and playing the negotiating game down to the wire, the Raptors are either going to have to cough up more money or have a trade in place for the last minute but it's all risky when it goes down to the wire… teams can back out on that trade and you get nothing. As soon as MU has a good trade offer on the table I'd trade Pascal. End this cycle of greed. Get what we can and move on as he knows the score…. Pascal going to not sign and move on to Free agency for a bidding war that we probably don't want to be in.

  13. Ben you're on the money. He has more value under contract and can be moved after 6 months or down the road. You can't trade an all nba talent in his prime for $0.10CAD on the dollar

  14. If you came here to whine, just the same as you did yesterda. How about don't? Just shut up, stop moaning and let the people in the know do their job. Nowhere in there did I say never consider team building.. but years of you kids whining day after day after day. Just stop, why? This is our team lol. Why do you watch it if the only thing you can add is whining? It makes no sense. How is it the trade you all loved couldnt even get you past 3 days without demands of the front office. Its not over yet, how ypu gonna condemn an unfinished project? So FVV walke, booohooo. Are you consider how and why AT ALL?????? DO YOU NOTHING OF THE CHEMISTRY WE HAD LAST SEASON???? How on earth are you still bringing this up. Just stopppp the whining

  15. Most fans have no read on the raptors thought process. The raptors are never desperate. They let Fred walk, they will let Oscar walk too if that’s where we get to. Players think they deserve contracts but they need to work for them. Most guys are eligible for a max but are not worth it. Raps won’t give SoCal what he wants , SoCal is using raptors, raptors will use Orval and get something back.

  16. It was a pretty dick move for him to leak that he won't resign with any team he's traded to. Screwed the raptors with trade leverage (the team who gave him everything) when he could have not said anything and still done whatever he wants next offseason.

  17. Insisting on re-signing him really shows your lack of understanding of the situation, Ben. It's unfortunate cuz I love the channel, have for years

  18. @ben rogers this is what you do. you make some lesser deal with pistons if siakam sabotages deals with other teams, where the raptors get filler ivey and 2nd round picks back to ship siakam to pistons. then the pistons will hold the leverage on siakam as they will have bird rights. most teams likely want a sign and trade and for that to happen they will have to give pistons a good deal or siakam leaves 30-40 million on the table by walking away from pistons to another team without bird rights. its a beautiful leverage move. sure siakam can walk from pistons but he loses 30-40 million by doing it. if he wants a sign and trade, well pistons will have to get multiple first round picks and young players from team wanting to sign and trade.
