[95.7 The Game] “You have to applaud [Steph] every single time he walks on the court. Even if they lose by 100 every game…The best moments of your miserable life have come thanks to that guy.”😂🔥 – @DarthAmin on Warriors fans booing

Full quote:

>”To me, until Steph Curry says ‘eff you, I never liked it here anyway,’ you gotta applaud that man EVERY single time he walks onto the court, even if they lose by 100 every game from here on out. As long as he’s playing and he’s respecting the game, you respect him and you respect what he does. Because again, the best moments of your miserable life have come thanks to that guy.”

AMEN! I don’t know what Amin is doing calling into 95.7 lol and there have been plenty of occasions where he’s been annoying as hell with his takes but he nails it here.

The over indulgence in ‘what have you don’t for me lately?’ culture throughout the NBA as a whole, but this fanbase especially, has completely warped fans’ minds. Bring back some perspective and gratitude.

they’re not booing steph specifically. They’re booing this team as a whole.

Even the down years after 2019 the team wasn’t boo’d. This team had expectations and they failing to make it.

This man brought us 4 chips in 8 years, literally transformed the worst franchise in the NBA to one of the best……the casuals and fake fans are the ones booing, not the real ones

  3. My wife has blackmail videos of me losing my mind over many, many Curry Flurries over the years. The underlying theme of every video is “How does he do it? I don’t know how he can do this.”

Cool. Basketball is a team sport. I pay 500+ dollars to bring a family of five to a game to see atrocious hoops. Sorry Amin. No matter who is on the court… two bloodbaths get you boos.

Fans actually have families. Amin thinks too highly of sports place in people’s lives. When my family needs me I don’t say “hold on Steph Curry is playing this might be the best moment of my miserable life” for real those sentences written out sound disgusting to me.

Amin must have a sad life to frame it like that.

  5. The man is the franchise, he’s literally the main reason the game of basketball changed. Build as many statues as he wants

There’s asinine hero worship, and then there’s “the best moments of your miserable life have come thanks to that guy!”

Apparently this Amin guy’s on cameo if want to get this take personalized for a loved one.

Sorry, but fuck you, DarthAmin. The best moments of our miserable lives?

This fuck ball doesn’t know me. Doesn’t know 99% of us. My existence is more miserable than he can fucking imagine. Steph has been a great distraction from time to time, but he also makes a shit ton of money. I actually respect the hell out of him and am not a Boo Bird (never have booed my own team, though I have mocked, [started a “Roll On You Bears” cheer in the Holmoe days after a fourth consecutive penalty had us facing a 1st and 45]). That said, if people want to express frustration, that’s up to them. If someone spent hard earned money and the TEAM is not even trying out there, boo if you want.

Really, this guy triggered me with his hot take bullshit. I am constantly dealing with dislocations, my damn left leg is refusing to get back in socket, and I am about to watch the game hoping for distraction. Guess what happens when the team does what it did the last 2 games? Yeah, the frustration exacerbates pain.

Not looking for sympathy, just want it noted stupid asshats need to think more before commenting on “miserable lives” of other. Fuck you. DarthAmin!

Imagine paying hundreds to watch them lose by 40. I’d personally just be laughing at how ridiculous the situation is, but it’s hard to fault someone if they decide to boo.

Losing seasons happen, not the end of the world. That 15 win season actually had some incredibly entertaining games to see in-person, but getting embarrassed like they did these past two home games doesn’t leave much to cheer for.

You can appreciate all Steph and the Warriors of old have accomplished while recognizing how cooked they’ve been this year. Fans don’t have some moral obligation to pretend everything is sunshine and rainbows, especially when they go down 20 in the 1st quarter and then lose by 40.

That said, if you’re going to a game and may end up booing, I’ll gladly take the ticket and cheer in your place. Also that “miserable life” shit is just unneeded lol, homie really cares that much about a couple boo-birds?

The quotes a little extra, but yeah, a lot of non-fans here. Doesn’t matter we’re missing people like CP3, GP2, and Draymond. Doesn’t matter players have bad games. Doesn’t matter we’re booing players that have won us 4 championships. Very weird how people think it’s a good trait of a fan to shit on your team now. You cannot always win and even good players lose badly.

  10. people are allowed to voice their feelings about a team, fuck off with this gatekeeping shit.

    Never woulda happened in Oracle.

And the real ones know that.

Whine and Cheese Center ain’t the same.

“Bring back some perspective and gratitude.”

“the best moments of your miserable life have come thanks to that guy.”

Gratitude is a great attitude, but I actually feel sad for anyone with this perspective. Following pro sports for me is about entertainment and a sense of community. Tom Cruise has given me many hours of great entertainment but if the next Mission Impossible movie is a flop I don’t have to bite my tongue about it on reddit. The forward-looking peanut gallery is entitled to their shallow opinions, literally impossible trade schemes, complaints, boos, and cheers—just as much as the wise loyalists others are entitled to enjoy every minute of this season and complain about anyone who dares to have an opinion they don’t like.

I have to be honest, as a Knicks fan who needed something to cheer for and a reason to follow the NBA during our dark days in the 2010s, the way this entire fan base is melting down rn over one bad season when y’all literally won the championship 2 years ago is astounding. Tbh it seems pretty entitled.

Y’all need to move some pieces who have provided an amazing service to your team over the last 10 years. I feel like that can and should be done with more grace and gratitude for their accomplishments than is currently being done rn.

The reality is Klay, dray, and looney are regressing, while steph is still capable of playing at a high level but his best days are sorta behind him. This team and core was gonna eventually age out and break up. You can choose to show them appreciation for the success they gave you or you can have a messy breakup riddled with frustration and angst. And a lot of that comes down to the fans and your treatment of these players. I hope y’all find a way to show these guys what they meant to you and your franchise before they are gone.

Because truthfully you may only have a few more weeks to make this right before they’re gone for good.

    Idk just an outsiders perspective.

  14. People can boo, and they were booing the team, not necessarily Curry.

The Warriors have always played with a certain competitive spirit and unselfish style of play that has made them one of the most entertaining teams to watch. Whatever the Warriors have been doing this season, giving up leads, the awful couple of back to back blow outs at home, if they play like this I’ll be happy to watch them win or lose.

I hate to say this but does anyone else wonder if it’s no coincidence that all of a sudden Wiggins and Kuminga’s names are being floated a lot in trade rumors that those guys have great games?

I hope this level of play continue, because if it does and the Warriors get Draymond and then eventually CP3 and GPII back I think they could be a solid playoff team. We’re not even halfway through the season.

Call it copium but I’m going to believe in the possibility. I think everyone on the roster should be feeling a little humbled right now and hopefully that translates into improved play on the court.

  15. calipiano81

I agree! If you are booing your own team, IMO, you are not a fan of that team. The only people who should be booing are the fans of the opposing team.

  16. _AManHasNoName_

A lot of these booing “Warriors fans” are bandwagon fools who only watched the Warriors when they started winning. Now they complain. I have been supporting the Warriors since the days of Chris Mullin, a generation when the Warriors were literally the league’s talent farm given they were a small market team. To witness them have their young core grow up together on the basketball court and eventually won championships was the best thing I’ve ever witnessed. It’s sad that nothing lasts forever, but I’m still a fan win lose and very much appreciate what they have accomplished.

  17. Kdog122025

Nobody was booing the result. Everyone was booing the process that got that result. If people pay money to go to a show and the performers pack it in and put in minimal effort like the 2 games prior to the Bulls they deserve boos. It’s that simple.
