No world he’s getting them 2 firsts lol. That’d be an insane overpay for DFS.
People are still up in arms about 2 firsts for Caruso. A late 1st for DFS plenty.
Rather trade for the rights to Ol’ Dirty Bastard’s Brooklyn Zoo than trade 2 First Round Picks for DFS.
Obviously two firsts is a batshit price but DFS probably gets traded for more than he’s worth is my guess. Like 15 fanbases in the league probably think they could get him for a few seconds or a late first, but wouldn’t be surprised if it’s closer to a mix of both
Thing with Brooklyn is, selling off vets doesn’t even necessarily make sense for them because they don’t have control over their draft picks. They can’t just tank away because Houston’s the one whose gonna benefit off that. It’s the same reason I can’t see Mikal being on the block barring a similar caliber player back for them.
So they don’t really have the need to sell their vets to get something back (even if it’s peanuts) like most bad teams do, and can just accept a good offer if it comes
