How the Brooklyn Nets are About Change the Entire NBA
The Brooklyn Nets are one of the strangest teams in the entire NBA and they are weird for a multitude of different reasons I’m me to a little bit later in this video but overall I just really have not seen a lot of people talking about them and how interesting
The Nets can actually be and how they’re probably going to change the landscape of the NBA in a very very big way soon and not only that but they’re probably going to have a few different ways that they could do it depending on what which

Let’s get right into this video so to really understand what I’m trying to get at in this video let’s start with the foundation of why I think they’re able to be so weird and so impactful into the future of the NBA because right now they have an extremely weird collection of
Players I look at their main contributing guys in the rotation they have Mel Bridges cam Johnson Spencer deny Dorian finy Smith Nicholas claxon cam Thomas Royce O’Neal and Ben Simmons when he is healthy and all of these players are very big pieces to what the Brooklyn Nets currently are and all
These players having common one thing besides maybe Ben Simmons maybe and that’s a huge huge if but mainly all these guys have one thing in common and that is the fact that all of them are extremely highlevel valuable role players who would be great on any contending level team but none of them
Can be the guy on an NBA winning team or even probably a top two guy on an NBA Finals winning team or contending level team that’s legitimately one of the best teams in the NBA but all of them will probably be in the rotation of any team
In the entire NBA and that has resulted in them being 16 and 22 because although their team is compiled of nothing but great highle NBA players they have no star to really project them forward or lift this ceiling now this may sound like a bad thing but in my opinion it’s
Not too too bad because they already with all this stockpile Talent on this roster all though their record isn’t great their future is still extremely bright looking as if you look at their future draft capital from the two trades of Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant to the
Suns and Mavericks they were able to net a total of six first round picks between those two trades and they were also able to get all these players that we just talked about at least most of them some of them are already on the roster but
Most of them were from those trades and the reason it’s such an interesting topic to look into is because this now gives them a few different options of where they can go this is kind of a fork in the road moment cuz let’s be honest the Brooklyn Nets are most likely going
To take one of these two options the first option is they can completely blow everything up tear it down and start building from scrap and now what I mean by this is trade everybody trade every guy that contributes anything and be a horrible team for a few years but the
Result in what they would happen if they blew it all up they probably you can probably get two first for Mel Bridges you can probably get a first for cam Johnson you can definitely get a first for Den witty Dorian FY Smith you can trade for a young guy with a high
Ceiling Nicholas Claxton you could trade for a first- round pick and you can say that for so so many other guys on this roster that I mentioned earlier you can get so much draft capital on top of what you already have from Trading Durant and Kyrie you could basically have an
Oklahoma City Thunder esque draft Capital going into the future which is an extremely extremely good thing because look how it has worked out for Oklahoma City they still have tons of draft capital and they’re a borderline contending team right now especially once they start developing no telling
How good they’re going to be so the Brooklyn Nets are set up in a perfect situation to do the exact same thing if they do decide to tear it all down and blow it up because like I said said you can get legitimately great packages for
A lot of players on this roster and that is the benefit of having nothing but highlevel value role players build throughout your entire team and then the second option they could go with is the fact that they could kind of halfway blow it up but also keep some younger
Guys like they could keep guys like Nick kxen cam Thomas maybe even cam Johnson and kind of try to build around them they can still trade all their other role players but try to build around what they already have and hope that the draft Capital they get through the
Trades and that they already have plus the self-development of those guys they decide to keep hopefully it can be enough to one day make them legit finals contenders and if that works out it could very much do so and they can hit in the draft they could legitimately end
Up at a very high level play team and be a contending level team for years and years to come either way I think is a win-win for the entire NBA because let’s be honest Mel Bridges would be a great addition to imagine he went to the
Lakers imagine he went back to the Suns imagine he went to almost any other Contender he would be a huge piece to if they win the championship or not same with Cam Johnson same with Spencer Den witty same with everyone else I mentioned on that list like that could
Be a huge League shaking trades if they’re able to do that although is no no one will be a huge Nam that they trade outside of like Ben Simmons all of which will make huge differences in whether who wins the NBA finals and who doesn’t depending on where they are
Traded to so I think that is a huge huge League shaking things that are going to happen no matter what option they choose now yes you could say there’s a third option where they just make no moves and try to stay imp pack which I cannot see happening cuz they’re never going to
Have success like at best they’re an eighth seventh or sixth seed and that’s nowhere is where you want to be you’re never going to win championship with this team you’re never going to win anything at a high level and you’re probably never going to be bad enough to
Get a number one overall pick with this team so their ceiling is very very low but if you blow everything up or partially blow it up and you try to do what I said one of these two options you could be a contending level team in the
Future while making another one of the current contenders even stronger than they already are and making things even more interesting to see who’s to win the finals and I just think overall the Brooklyn Nets really have almost the league in their hands right now and they can depending on whether what option
