  1. Hawk and JV gameball. Not the way I expected to go 1-1 in the b2b but Ill take it lol. 5-2 in January.

  2. Gotta find minutes for Hawk even when everyone is playing.

  3. onelove101

I can’t believe we stole this one. Amazing and incredibly important win.

  4. Young Jay-Z with a career high. What a great team win.

  5. DrDarnocMD

People crap on Willie, but that was a great adjustment at halftime. Usually we let those slip away, but running the offense through Hawk was the right call. Hopefully, this causes him to play Hawk more often.

  6. BobMarleynthewhalers

Hawk was 3rd behind Chet and Wemby on the rookie ladder dont forget!!🐦‍🔥

  7. Briguy_fieri

The New Orleans pelicans are 1-0 when /u/briguy_fieri forgot to get lime juice instead of lemon juice for his whisky drinks.

I have an emo statistic if anyone needs one

Edit: I’m hammered and was just brought the “emo” stat to my attention and have no idea what I meant.

  8. notthefakeguy

We are going to start a dialogue about Jordan Hawkins

  9. Sslagathor

Hawkins cant be ignored anymore. I dont know how, but there has to be minutes for him regularly

  10. Savings-Bird-1226

Fun game shout out JV. Let’s hope hawk gets more mins

  11. legend023

Alright 17 more consecutive wins before we’re taken seriously as a contender

  12. SpaceAfricanJesus

Huge night from Hawkins and JV.

There’s a reason why you drafted Hawkins in the first round, stop overthinking it.

  13. bradleyvlr

Shout out Hawkins, he’s that dude for real. Also, JV is untradeable right?

  14. IAmMrMiyagi

Z, TM3, and Hawk need to be on the floor at the same time. Make it happen Willie.

  15. Dangerous-Advice186

No more Hawk DNPs. He needs 20+ min from here on out.

  16. AnEmptyKarst

No Zion, no Christian James, no BI, no problems

Hawk is real, dude needs more minutes when everyone is active

  17. Woockawoo

I’m tired of hearing the “he’s a liability on defense” excuse anymore. The warriors have hidden curry on defense for over a decade. It’s freaking possible please for the love of God let the kid play!

  18. GatorEggs-

Hawk played fucking incredible today as the main option anytime he wasn’t with Jv and when he was he played off of jvs gravity perfectly. He could definitely improve with his ball security when driving to the rim and he struggles a bit when he gets blitzed when handling the ball. But inserting him in lineups with Zion and bi and having him move off ball while they are driving/creating could be dangerous.

Its hard to believe so many idiots wanted us to just sit everyone and not try to beat the current champs. What a losers way of thinking. With Luka out, we made the right call trying to beat Denver. Even if we didn’t get the win. If we want to be contenders you have to try beat the top teams

  20. BurntHamSandwich

In my mind, Hawk didn’t play last night so he could be the guy tonight. Whether or not that’s actually the case idc because that was an amazing win

  21. hourhandqq

ANY NBA team would pray for a prospect like Hawkins. Meanwhile Willie’s playing with those zero offense stupid line ups all the time and DNP him. I’m not saying Hawkins should take all the others’ minutes, but at least be flexible and adaptive with your rotations.

I think Pels have one of the most stacked roster in the league and have enough talents to make a deep playoff run, I really do. It’s on Willie finally learns to adjust and the duo show up at big games.

  22. Yeetacus200

My theory is that Willie doesn’t play Hawk bc he’s scared he becomes our best player and will require a super max that the team can’t afford.

  23. ChocolateTemporary72

If Luka is out Monday, rest Ingram again. He may be fine but seeing Achilles on the injury report is terrifying.

  24. ___DEADPOOL______

Alright the mushroom tortellini is still undefeated… This is getting weird but I think I need to just accept that I am going to have to eat it every game day… Sorry about yesterday I wasn’t feeling well and didn’t want to cook

  25. BubbleGumGuy94

I think willies gotta think about playing either naji or Jose depending on the matchup, not both when everyone’s healthy, that way you can fit hawk in

  26. Unknownrealm

Can’t wait for Hawkins to get DNP going forward 🙌🏿

  27. toastiestnuggets

at this point fuck it man. I wanna see a zion trey hawk lineup in every game from now on. I think it’s crazy that we haven’t at least run it yet in an actual close game

  28. JayDogon504

Proud of the youth movement for coming through. Also Val is a future Pels legend

  29. Aggravating-Lake-717

    What a win!

    Hawk deserve more minutes!

  30. BubbleGumGuy94

Our future backcourt if both keep developing of dyson and hawk is gonna be nasty!

  31. ExpensiveOutside8011

    The starting five

    Nance
    Trey
    Dyson
    Hawk

    That’s the rotation!
