Yep. When we don’t turn the ball over + our defense we are elite.
Turnovers biggest thing holding us back

Pretty mediocre to trash offense overall being saved by top shelf defense.
The recent moments in a few games with Conley and JMac playng together have looked like a completely different team on offense. I don’t think we find Ant on the court during the best moments of team offense sad to say. But that doesn’t mean that he’s not the #1 offensive scorer. He is. But both Ant and Kat can often be singles among a team. So when playing like that the offense is only as successful as they are alone.
The timberwolves have enough talented scorers to stay in and win some or many games while playing individual offense. But only when the defense is also strong.
They have yet to really find their best lineups for full games. I hope Finch and crew keep looking for it and believe it when they see it. But frankly the defense is still what can carry them and I hope they don’t mess with that either.

Interesting to see the advanced stats because it clearly supports the eye test – we turn the ball over too much and it’s detrimental to our offense.
When we don’t have a lot of TOs we see a lot better flow and movement – trust in the system, so to speak. But when we have a lot of turnovers we start to see more hero ball.

I’m no scientist but our point differential is not +7.2.

the difference between our defense and #2 philly is the same as the difference between them and #14 miami! unreal. never thought id see the day the wolves are that good at anything

Not going hard after offensive rebounds is probably by design to strengthen our transition defense, which is fine. The live ball turnovers on the other hand are a real problem
