Utah Jazz take care of the Lakers without LeBron James
The Utah Jazz found out before this one that LeBron James would miss this game and they took advantage behind big nights from Lauri Markkanen and Collin Sexton. They also got great games from John Collins, Jordan Clarkson, and Keyonte George as they took care of business, even with D’Angelo Russell having a pretty monster night.

Great work Nerd. Thanks for the show.
I just gotta say how nasty it looks when D’Angelo Russell hangs his filthy orthodontic device out of his mouth. Can you tell I was bugged when he gave Sexton the short signal Nerd. What a prick he is.
It’s safe to say that you problably need to stop saying Sexton is a 6 man on a competitive team . Because we really are a competitive team
Was at the game!!! First of all super super mad lebron didn’t play but hey you can’t complain about a jazz win!
Walker need to be mean . He need to talk with Sexton . And ask him 1% of his energy and mentally . He is too soft . I know his personality is goofy but I feel like he have the same in the game .
Here's the post game analysis: Jazz shot 24 of the last 25 free throws in the game.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
WHAT A PERFORMANCE!
grit determination and SKILLS.
the way K. George played was a pleasure to watch, the way how k.Dunn lost the ball and then stole it back was an equal delight. Collins was more than awesome. I had not enjoy watching a game as much as tonight for a long time.
ps. just watched laker's post game podcast. they a coping 😀
Your analyze is always spot on. Joy to listen. I learn a lot just listening and appreciating these talents playing and you guys who professionally interpreted finesses to use. Thank you.
You’re the Pistons of speaking Italian 😂
Food for thought with John Collins is that he came from quite different system with one ball dominant guard.
It will take time to adjuat from that.
That being said, you should be flexible as off-ball player then.
Ngl stop saying sexton a 6 man
After a poor start to the season, and more recently the big loss to Boston, I was at point where I resigned myself to the idea the Jazz were going to be involved in a number of trades at the deadline — but not anymore. The one guy I am certain the Jazz will trade is Kelly Olynyk. The others who were candidates for a trade (Collins, Clarkson, Sexton) are now off the trading block; unless, a team comes up with an exceptional offer. Of those, Clarkson is the player most at risk of being traded.
Clarkson was being a ball hog towards the end of game instead of being a team player and missed 6 straight shots and turned it over. He's a ball hog and is terrible at defense. If anyone needs too be traded its him. They should try and trade clarkson and maybe someone else or a pick for siakam or another defender. If we did we'd be a definite contender
Don't know what the contractual situation is with coach Hardy, but he will surely be at the top of the big teams' shopping list, and he is one of the biggest reasons for the current success. Jazz should be buyers NOW and get one top player to add to their starter if possible. Seize the moment! It might not come back.
Lauri played big guarding ad taking it to ad their was a play where he bullied ad under the rim n scored Lauri know how to run a pik n roll that's how we beat Denver the other night ochai aing going nowhere his defense is elite baby bull is playing like top 10 pg/sg right now he must got the biggest energy n the league
Trade KO and THT to Miami for a 2nd round pick in 2024. Thats it! Lets stick with what we have. This Lauri/Sexton/Clarkson trio is worth building around
It's not like they're above .500 with Lebron playing!
They actually move the ball better when he's not playing!
