[L. Edwards III] Motivation for Detroit: even more cap space this summer. Bagley had next year left of his deal at $12 million, while Gallinari and Muscala are expiring deals after this season. Pistons can have close to $60 million in cap space this summer.

They’re probably going try offering someone the max in free agency… could be pascal?
Ah the Rockets approach, I like it. I mean it’s working for them, so why not.
They are definitely going to throw the max at Pascal lol. If I were them I would try to throw a bag at OG as well
All that money and no one will want to go there.
They will have north of 70 million if they trade us Ivey and their 2024 lottery pick

Ah yes, the free agent destination that is Detroit. I’m sure Pascal would love to go there.
Unless Siakam only cares about the bag I just don’t see the appeal. Yes they are up and coming but Pascal is ready now.
Houston approach. They won’t max anyone but they will grab two really good vets for about 30 million each. And it will be an overpay.
If they are smart, they will look for value with that cap space. They have 7 guys who are 22 or younger. They also have all their picks other than the next one. Getting one star player in their prime does nothing for them. Overpaying for marginal talent won’t help them either. They need to start thinking long-term about what their team will look like when their young guys are in their primes.
All that money just to end up with Doug McDermott
People don’t seem to understand the difference between being a regular working class person living in Detroit, and someone worth tens of millions of dollars living in a Detroit suburb, lol. Players will definitely go there for the right price.
Cab any nba bookworms gimme a shortlist of potential UFAs this off-season?
Trade Pascal to the Spurs for the Raptors first round pick. Problem solved get the pick back and ride of Pascal in one deal.
