The Pascal Siakam Trade Rumors Are HEATING UP…

The Pascal cakam trade rumors are heating up and they have been nonstop with the February 8th trade deadline fast approaching there is a lot of stuff coming out it seems like it’s only a matter of time until a cakam trade happens and the Toronto Raptors officially usher in a new era what’s

Going on everyone it’s Luca here back with another video in this one I’ll be taking a look at the latest cakam rumors which have just been going absolutely crazy as of late and give you my take on everything if you all can do me a Sol a

Favor please hit a like on the video it helps it a ton and also please subscribe to the channel for more Raptors and NBA content just like this so the Raptors in cakam are believed to be on the verge of parting ways this is per Bleacher

Reports Chris Haynes who did say this on Friday it has been reported that there’s a high likelihood that cakam has moved ahead of the February 8th trade deadline there have been many teams linked to cakam I mean the Hawks Pistons Mavericks Pacers Kings and warriors have all

Recently popped up in rumors W pointed out that cakam is going to have a lot to say in where he goes because he will be an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season and we already knew that perk Kurt Heen of NBC Sports siakam’s people are telling every potential trade Suitor

So far that he plans to test free agency and wants a full 4-year Max contract which is four years at about 184. million Helen says because other teams see him as a potential rental the discussions have been nowhere near what the Raptors expect as a return in this

Trade the only team that could offer cakam a market rate extension right now is the Raptors and even though this is a possibility that cakam and the Raptors could agree to an extension cakam and the Raptors are nowhere close to an extension this is per W therefore if a

Team trades for cakam before the trade deadline they would run the risk of potentially losing him in the summer so he could essentially be a rental for that team the simple fact is cakam being on expiring contract complicates his trade value and this is why the Raptors

Would have been better off trying to trade cakam last season which is something I suggested when I wanted the Raptors to move on from him and Fred Van vet or in the offseason where he would have had a full season left on his deal now let’s take a look at the potential

Cakam suters and what they could offer it has been reported by Josh lenberg that the Raptors are targeting young players with star upside in a potential akam deal which is what they did with ojen and Obi getting back Emanuel quickley and RJ Barrett instead of first rounders this suggests that MSU jiri is

More interested in a retooling than a full-on rebuild now I know the Atlanta Hawks are shopping to jonte Murray and they have been linked to seaka Aon dating back to this past off season but it doesn’t really make sense for the Raptors as they already have Emanuel

Quickly there the Pistons have come up but I don’t see them trading any of their core Young players and they just freed up a bunch of cap space so they could just be hoping to sign cakam and throw him a bunch of money this summer same goes with the Sixers who have been

Linked to cakam they will have some significant cap space to work with now a team that has come up a ton as a potential Suitor for cakam the Indiana Pacers and the Pacers pairing cakam with Tyrese halberton would make a lot of sense for them the Pacers had extensive

Conversations at the g- league show focus in Orlando about this trading for seak I think Indiana has some of the best assets to offer this is what Michael Scotto said and then per Kurt Heen Toronto wants Benedict Maan or jerus Walker in any trade with Indiana however the Pacers are not interested in

Trading away their young talent for a player they can sign as a free agent this summer Pacers will have a lot of salary cap flexibility plus if Indiana did trade for him there would be no guarantee he would stay as is the case for every team in this situation that

Wants to trade for Pascal cakam now another team interested in seak the Dallas Mavericks this is according to Jake fiser of Yahoo sports he says that there’s people in the Mavericks organization who think seak is a missing piece that you could potentially pair with Luca donic and Kyrie Irving and all

Of a sudden you look up and the Mavericks are a legitimate contender in the west the Sacramento Kings have been linked to seaka but they reportedly pulled out of trade talks the Raptors probably wanted Keegan Murray and the Kings didn’t want to include him also Pam Amic sources believe that cakam

Doesn’t view the Kings as a good long-term fit if the Raptors choose to move him there and then there’s the Warriors both Shams and WJ have reported that the Warriors are interested in him however wge did call it a difficult pathway for the Warriors and Raptors to

Get a trade done so here we are in the midst of all of this trying to figure out what will happen with cakam and how the Raptors are going to navigate this whole situation if I had to make a prediction on where I see cakam going if

He gets traded I think it’s going to come down to the Pacers Mavericks or Warriors so let’s first start with the Pacers I don’t know if the Pacers are going to budge in terms of giving up mathun this is the deal that I would ideally love to see happen involving

Pascal seak I mean if the Raptors can somehow get Walker or mathine in a cakam deal that would be awesome and then the Mavericks they make a lot of sense to me because they got aggressive and traded for Kyrie last season so they could do

The same here and I do think cakam on that Mavericks team would make them a title Contender they would make things interesting in the Western Conference and with the Raptors wanting young Talent the Mavs have Josh screen jayen Hardy Prosper on the roster and then they have Tim Hardaway Jr who could be

Tren Junior’s replacement and then there’s the Warriors who to me make the most sense because I think they’re under the most pressure here to make a big trade and turn things around because they can’t just waste the season with Stephen Curry at 35 and they are in

Desperate need of a change that team has constructed is not going anywhere and they got two young pieces in Jonathan kaminga and Moses Moody who could be the centerpiece of a deal and then obviously the Warriors have cat filler guys too like an Andrew Wiggins or Chris Paul so

Those are a couple of teams that make the most sense to me like I said I I would put the Warriors at top of that list but seems like right now the current situation is that the Raptors have made it clear that they want to trade cakam but the offers they’re

Getting are to their liking which is causing I think this hold up however they have to do something because if the Raptors let this play hold until the summer they can lose cakam for nothing like they did with Fred Van v hopefully MSU jiri can finesse a deal and

Something does get done before the trade deadline but based on everything that’s come out it does suggest that it’s only a matter of time until cakam and the Raptors go their separate ways which will officially start the next chapter of raptor basketball and I’m all here

For it I mean you guys know my take on sakam for a while now I thought it was in the best interest of this team to move on from him going back again to last season and it feels like sakam has been in so many trade rumors over the

Last couple of years so this has been a long time coming it feels and for those people saying why not just bring cakam back because you’d have to pay him the max he’s turning 30 and this team isn’t contending with him right now it’s about picking a direction for this Raptor team

Acquiring young assets and playing the long-term game and it’s not about the now it’s about the future for the Raptors so that is why it is in best interest of this team especially since they just traded oin and Obi signaling this youth movement and finishing the job and hopefully like I said getting

Something done with cakam that is going to make a lot of sense for this Raptor team before the trade deadline and hopefully Messiah can work his magic one more time we’ll see how this whole situation unfolds from here on out but where do you see cakam Landing what do

You make of this whole situation let me know your thoughts Down Below guys hit a like on the video also please subscribe to the channel for more that is it for me is Lucas signing off as always thank you so much for watching I will catch you all again in the next Video

Things are getting interesting for Pascal Siakam and the Toronto Raptors.

  1. we're doing what we should've done 2 years ago lmao, im gonna miss him if we do trade him but its what we need to do

  2. If they can't find decent trade assets, why not extend Siakam and trade him offseason? Wouldn't all teams be looking to max him out anyway in the offseason?

  3. Siakam and Temple for Bruce Brown, Jarace Walker, Jordan Nwora and 2 ‘24 First Round picks.

  4. @luka rosano the statement pacers can sign siakam in summer easily is false. even if they let go buddy hield, bruce brown, mcconnel, nwora, and toppin they clear only 37.9 million in cap space this summer. thats still not enough to sign siakam in the summer for pacers. the only way pacers can sign siakam is to trade for him and have his bird rights and have the trade exceptions from the deal.

  5. what does not make sense to me is that any team trading for him retains bird rights. if Siakam does not only get traded but also decides to leave for another team in the off-season, that is around a difference of 30% that a team can offer. So him deciding to leave for another team really does not make sense if his top priority is getting as much money as possible, in that case resigning with the team that would trade for him is his best case.

  6. What is this rental argument? The team he'll be traded to will have his Bird rights and can offer him 5 years. Pascal won't turn down the 5th year. This is his last big payday.

  7. I guess the forward vision did work out but just in another way, with doing what we did we found the prime player with nearly the skillset we wanted he just needed some time and a good mentor (like siakam) over the years and I think it did work out to his credit and to others I just want to see pascal go to a spot where he can play his best basketball if we aren't going to pay him and hopefully masai gets some more young pieces to work under coach darko

  8. Waited too long to trade him, teams don’t want rental and trade assets or high picks for him now, this is what happened with Lowry and Vanvleet. Management always fell in love with it’s players and hoped for team to explode suddenly to become best 😢team In EC. Players ended up becoming restricted or Unrestricted free agents.

  9. Waste 2+ seasons with lineups that make NO SENSE. Now that these guys' trade value is dramatically reduced because their contracts are expiring, we try to trade them out. I'm not impressed.

  10. Raptors can still do a sign an trade in his free agency…however if he walks for free then last season indecisive cost them big time…

  11. The best deal that the raptors are going to get is going to be Siakam for Wiggins + Kuminga and then whatever minor pieces to balance it out.

  12. The Warriors trade should look like Wiggins, Looney (to match salary) and Moody, with a pick if not sweet enough. Siakam is looking for a big contract and wants to test free agency reportedly, so any team trading for him, have to look at it as a 4 month rental. You can't trade away Kuminga or multiple picks on that sort of trade, but Moody has largely been out of the lineup (because the warriors have too many players that need minutes), and is a great young player, a great 3&D guy who has scored 21pts in both of his last games. He is crafty getting to the rim, but is also shooting 47% from 3 in his last 10 games. He also just fits alongside the Raptors better than Kuminga IMO.

  13. 😅heating up as opposed to the boiling point it was at 3 days ago? Lol keep up the good work brodie

  14. I hope warriors shake things up and trade Klay and Moody for Siakam. A lineup of Poeltl Barnes RJ Klay and IQ is reminiscent of the 2013 warriors

  15. What would happen to Quickley if they lose Siakam. He's one of the main young developing guys and who can he feed in the paint? It's like a tight end for a young quarter back. You need someone with size that can handle getting fed consistently if need be

  16. After reading some of the comments about the warriors the past few days the best trade for gs is for 30% of their fans.

  17. Siakam is not going to be traded because the Raptors are delusional with no leverage. They are going to keep him and end up giving him the Max.

  18. The thing that everyone seems to forget… whoever trades for pascal. Gets his bird rights. Which means that team and ONLY that team can offer him a fifth year on his contract. Which could be up to an extra $40-$50 MILLION. Pascal wants money. Seems like he doesn’t really care about wining. He has a ring. Now he wants the brinks truck

  19. Jarace Walker, Isiah Jackson, buddy heild and 1 first round pick for pascal and Otto porter jr Get it done. Isiah Jackson is an awesome young PF / centre. He barely gets run in Indiana. Which makes NO sense. He’s way better than Jalen smith. Jarace Walker will be a Scottie 2.0. Not quite as good a passer as Scottie. But it’s close. He’s a dog. I love it.

  20. for the warriors if you don't plan on trading kuminga you are not getting him or a lauri so it's just cooked
