    When Rudy dominates like this we are absolutely a top 3 team in the NBA.

    Gotta clean up the turnovers still but this was a big test for us so it’s great to see us come out on top!

    This was a good “we’re still contenders” reminder type game, which they needed.

    Would love to have seen them just end it early in the 4th instead of letting them back in, but honestly after the chokes against the Mavs and Boston, it was good to see them actually handle business after letting go of the rope.

    Great defense, good ball movement, tough shotmaking, surviving a late run by one of the best teams in the NBA at full strength. Awesome game.

    Westbrook jinxed Clippers for laughing at Rudy’s free throws and that last missed layup was a cherry on top.

    Awesome effort on defense tonight. Really harassed their wings. Once again, need to figure out that offensive flow and the turnover issue but the team will always be in games due to their dominate defense. Really like our matchup vs the Clippers

    Ant isn’t there yet. He had two dumb turnovers and a dumb quick 3 that was a miss in the last two two minutes. Needs to be better to close out playoff games.

    Another myth dispelled tonight. Rudy doesn’t get “exposed” by small ball when there’s competent defenders that thwart dribble penetrations. Every time he was on ball with a guard or a wing he defended more than well. It took an insane amount of contested 3’s for the Clippers to get back in the game.

    Clippers are a really, really good team……some of their ball movement and the shots they were knocking down – I was just like damn. It wasn’t even bad defense a lot of the time. It was impossible to make it a blowout the way they knocked down shots and moved the ball.

    Definitely some things I didn’t like down the stretch but that’s a huge win.

    I think the clutch-time recipe should be this:

    If we need a bucket, keep it in Ant’s hands. If we’re protecting a lead, keep it in Mike’s hands.

    Simple as that.
