I don’t love that Connaughton has two more years left, with the second being a team option, but I do like the idea of a early second rounder from Portland. The 2027 from Milwaukee would be a bit of a big ask, since it’s their only remaining draft pick of their own they still have control over (😬). I would think Giannis would rather go into April and May with Delon, rather than see what rookie the team could get in the draft in June.

I would be ok with this but also don’t love the Connaughton contract. I had been thinking about what a great fit Delon would be for the Bucks. He can play alongside Lillard and even start over Beasley.

Would love to see Delon on a contender. But not sure his body is in a good place right now. Last year he was a force on the defensive end. Think he’s still getting healthy.

I feel like you can get more for Delon if you package him with Kuz. Their salary combines to about $33.7m, which is a better number to absorb bad contracts.
Honestly I think this front office is going full youth movement. If any vets gets traded it’s gonna be for guys under 24
I fuck with this a lot as a Bucks fan and seems realistic for both teams.
