OG’d a very underrated player, and I think he’s a good fit for the Knicks. As a Raptors fan I think we got a decent return, but ultimately I think it’s good for both teams.
They both won. Rj and quickley is better for Torontos offence. OG adds layers to the knicks and brings them to the next level. He doesn’t need the ball in his hand to have a massive impact on the game.

His handle and balance is not the greatest, he can catch and shoot 3s which is good but wants at least 35 million. I don't know how much growth is in his game as he has been in the league for 7 years. If he turns into a jaylen brown great but don't think so
As of now, this looks like a trade that has benefited both sides very well, as the respective players look like better fits on their new teams. In the days since this trade took place, we’re finding that while Immanuel Quickley was very good off the bench, Rose and Thibs knew what kind of player they had in Deuce McBride, which made Quick totally expendable. I was more disappointed in trading RJ than I was with Quick, but there’s no denying right now that OG is just a better fit for how Thibs likes to play. I’m also confident that Leon Rose made this trade with a long term plan already in place to keep OG here long term.
