I’ve come to accept (happily though!) that Cam is coming for the starting 2 role. When we played against Boston it just became apparent facing Brown and Tatum we need switchable guards that can draw fouls and shoot and Cam is a nice hybrid of Ant and Brown. Also, it’s apparent he fits nicely with Ime! I know Cam got a lot of garbage time last game, but he’s also had an increase in time with our starters over the past week and overall did well. He adds the dynamic a good scorer should.
In watching Jalen, I know he missed open people some times, but he’s not selfish. I also think he has drawn an impression from FVV and is trying to develop into a player like him. Jalen doesn’t get to run the PnR like FVV does with Sengun. But he makes the right play a majority the time when he does. But, the starting unit doesn’t need two FVV’s.
This gets me to my last point that may get some friction. I am just not buying into Amen as a PG… yet. He guards people super well, and is awesome to use for switches but he’s 65% FT, 41% FG, AND 15.4% 3PT%. That’s not good… especially from someone leading a 2nd unit with the ball. Amen will be a project, and a project that pays off! But let JG run the 2nd unit and get both a rim runner.
Later into the season or next, it’s going to pay dividends letting JG get used to a lead ball handler that has to keep the ship righted and feeding Sengun. FVV may can handle his load of minutes, but we don’t need him getting injured now or next season and our whole team going down from it.

Doesn’t the second five deserve a better PG?
So far, Jalen has shown bad handling skills and low BBIQ.
PG? Really?
Hey! Ive seen this one!
I would rather see Landale running the PG he is as scorer who can not score he needs to step his game up this offseason
