This team can be frustrating to watch, you can see them attacking great defenders in the league like AD and Gobert instead of hunting for bad/weaker defenders like conley, reaves and d’angelo russell. Harden-Pg-Kawhi were 1-13 when gobert was guarding them. Kawhi and PG were 3-11 against AD. The players and ty lue need to do better job at attacking weak defenders and hunting for mismatches instead of isoing and playing 1 v 1 against long and great defenders. The ball need to move.

Without Zu its a dogshit matchup. Harden Zu PNR is the Clippers like premiere play and they had to scrap it 5 mins before the game.
The Wolves have 3 guys in their starting 5 taller than who we had starting at C last night lol. With more gameplanning it’d be a lot better, but losing Zu last second sucked.
PG had great looks they just didn’t go down, Harden is probably in need of a break pretty soon, and even still we were a few plays going our way from winning despite all the CTE moments

I’m not gonna say it’s 4D chess or any way of hiding their game before playoffs time but I don’t believe either that they suddenly get dumb when facing the best teams when they’re quite good at hunting for the worst defenders in other games.

No Zu exposed us. I love Theis and Plumdawg, but We need a prominent backup big for sizable matchups like this if we want to be considered a well rounded team. Theis provides that back up PF spot, but we also saw that Plumlee isn’t what we need anymore. He’s got the size but maybe not the IQ anymore. It makes sense why there’s been noise about that spot. We need to plug the holes on this ship and keep going.
