The Toronto Raptors have traded OG Anunoby and are reported to be on the verge of dealing Pascal Siakam. There’s a lot of balls up in the air in terms of the dinos future. Scottie Barnes, Immanuel Quickley and RJ Barrett look to be here to stay but what about everyone else?
I pulled out my crystal ball and asked what the heck the Toronto Raptors would do in 2024. I got 10 answers for things they’ll do between January 15h, 2024 and January 15th, 2025. Let’s see how accurate this thing is. After all, the Nepalese witch who sold it to me for $3 may have been lying about its psychic powers?

How far did the Nets get with KD, Harden, Kyrie…the Sixers with Harden…the Lakers with Westbrooke, the Clippers and Kawhi ( nada so far) the big contract guys get you nothing. So teams will want a big contract Siakam?? Big contracts are now paid cuz that is what the NBA does not because you are getting a game changer. If Siakam is smart he'll take 3 years at 40mil per. The candy wagon has come and gone.
Some interesting predictions 2024! Despite the bad start a lot to be optimistic about still this year!
I am a firm believer of a balanced team give me 10 guys that can be starters in the league on my team, give me a well balanced team any day.

And for Gradey, I remember watching one of his first games with the raptors with my father in law who doesn’t really watch basketball or know much about the game, but after seeing Gradey play the first thing he said was whose this kid I like him and he looks like he’s going to be really good. I know that too, you can just see the little things he does and when he gets it all together it’ll be scary
The very worst thing the Raptors could do for their future is sign Siakim to a max deal.

If IQ becomes an all star I hope all 3 are with Toronto. Also, even if he signs between $25 to $30 mil for 5 years that is good value as we would be getting his prime years. IMO he’s a better player than Fred is.
I love Pascal but fans need to realize if we sign him to contact that is too high we will need to add assets down the road to get rid of it like yesterday Detroit trade or Demarre Carroll. A max contract would mean the team doesn’t have a lot of ways to get better.
We need Christian Koloko back bad, I was watching his hi-lights yesterday, we need his shot blocking and impact on D bad especially with Yak out.

I would love nothing more than a timeline tear down. Move pascal for best offer we can. Move off Poeltl contract. Send him to golden state. Either with Pascal or not.

The wife and I buy tickets at the beginning of the season for the best priced games in our opinion, next game we going to is vs the Nets in Feb for my birthday. Her last game was the loss to ATL…I told her to enjoy the game as it will probably be her last time watching her favourite player, Siakam, play in a Raptors jersey. Of course he didn't have the best performance in that game lol. Can't wait to see the new roster come Feb 22.
I agree been saying if people thought cap space was bad before with OG possibly looking for 40m…we could be paying 50+m to IQ and RJ next season. To me the Siakam trade is even more inevitable than before the OG trade.
