Lauri Markkanen & The Utah Jazz Have The NBA SHOOK!

Lauri Markkanen & The Utah Jazz Have The NBA SHOOK!

I remember the Jazz started last season on fire well it’s happening again the last 10 games the Jazz are 8 and2 they beat the Bucks in the Sixers recently they just blew out the Denver Nuggets yesterday and through this stretch of winning it turns out they have a top 10

Offense and defense shout out to their head coach will hardy because he has them playing a beautiful brand of basketball there are no Egos and the last 10 games they are second in the NBA in assist percentage Jackson Frank tweeted no he does a better job at maximizing spacing with a non- shooting

Center than the Jazz constantly nailing the positioning and play calls for Walker Kessler he used this play as an example Clarkson flares to the top gets the pass in the corner Markin and runs off a screen forces a smaller player onto him so yic knows if he doesn’t help

Or at least act like he’s showing Markin in will take advantage and score but while yic is occupied Kessler is cutting from the corner to the rim for the easy lob that’s just beautiful basketball and the leader of their success has to be credited to the 26-year-old allstar lri

Marinan he is an allaround Talent averaging 23.6 points 8.8 rebounds shooting 48% from the field and 38% from three on eight attempts per game the thing about him is he can dominate the game in so many ways he had five three-pointers against the Sixers hitting clutch and key threes to keep

The momentum or extend the momentum to just sucked the soul out of them he dominated that game from the perimeter and because he’s listed at 7 foot with the 611 Wings span and with how the Jazz use him that size can be alarming for opponents example against the Nuggets he

Got to the free throw line 12 times he dominated the game inside the paint and of course he made all 12 of those free throws because he can shoot the Rock and the thing about him is he dominates without dominating the basketball he gets all his buckets within the flow of

The offense meaning he fits with any lineup and any player the Utah Jazz get you don’t have to worry about fit with him and that’s a very rare trait to have as a star moving on to the most underrated player in basketball this season Colin seon ever since moving into

The starting lineup the Jazz have a 12 and4 record he’s averaging 21.3 points 4.8 assists and 2.5 rebounds shooting 50% from the field and 37% from three on four attempts per game as a starter I love watching him and I imagine he has become a huge fan favorite this season

Because he has that Russell Westbrook trait where every night you know you’re getting his intensity and hustle he’s also one of the quickest players in the league right now this gets him to his spots and creates scoring opportunities for himself or others he deserves a ton of recognition because I feel like

99.5% of fans outside of Utah wrote him off as just a player but he’s been an impactful starter this season changing the direction of the Season quite honestly Jordan Clarkson has also been balling he’s had an inconsistent season he had a slow start but in the last 10

He’s averaging 19.7 points six assists and he leads the team in that category over the season and when he’s on top of his game Off the Bench or maybe even starting depending on what’s going on with the team he can swing the momentum take over and whenever I bring up

Clarkson I say he’s a valuable weapon to have on your squad every team needs a guy like him but he has to be managed because at times he doesn’t have it so as a coach you might have to adjust his minutes but when he does have it you got

To set him free because he can win you a game out of nowhere and just completely take over John Collins has been doing his thing lately nothing eye popping but he can hold his own defensively he’s versatile on that end of the floor can guard multiple positions he grabs

Rebounds he’s a lob threat because of his athleticism he can hit open threes from time to time if he’s hot and he’s given them 14 points and eight rebounds he brings them size and a lot of Versatility and along with Collins they got other nice role players this team

Has talent and you’re finally seeing results lately for this team and konay George is a guy 20 years old he’s a rookie and he’s had Great Moments this year he looks like a potential thre level scorer one day and when he’s on top of his game he can swing the

Momentum with his scoring ability I believe he’s going to be a star because I mean the scoring just pops off the screen when he’s playing well and then the second-year player Walker Kessler brings a size on the defensive end protecting the rim at an elite level

While being a nice lob threat on the other side of the Court Kelly o linic another big with size is a great connector and can be used next to Markin in or as a stretch five he’s very versatile he can be used as a passing

Hub because he has a high IQ and great passing ability and often times he hits timely threes as he leads the team shooting 43% from three although he only takes 1.8 threes a game but he’s such a great connector for lineups a coach’s dream because he fits anywhere fonio as

Well solid player he’s a sniper he’s shooting five threes a game at 38% from distance and potentially he can be a nice 3 andd player down the road he’s just a solid role player overall Chris Dunn has also found a role on this team he hustles 247 he’s a great perimeter

Defender and he’s always hounding the opposing team’s best ball handler overall they got talent and they play the right brand of basketball it’s going to be very interesting to see which direction they decide to go because if they keep this unit together they keep this unit intact and don’t make that

Many moves moves they can definitely be in the playing tournament and that would be some great experience for an upand cominging team and it would just be fun overall to watch them because they play a beautiful brand of basketball and they’re one of the most enjoyable teams

To watch when they are winning just like the beginning of last season let me know your thoughts below though in the comments section and if you enjoyed at any point leave a like And subscribe and most importantly have yourself a great day and check out my other videos if you got time peace

  1. This team had a rocky start because nobody knew their role and everyone was trying to be a starter and highlight their talents. Once injury settled everyone into a role they've been lights out. The Jazz are 12 players deep with rotational players. Sensabaugh and Hendricks can't even get minutes and have been relegated to the G-League, while THT who was playing really well while people were injured can't find minutes anymore. Every other team in the West is star heavy with shallow benches. The Jazz are built for a solid regular season, but don't be surprised if they win a series against a team that has a starter out, because there's not much drop off between the Jazz starters and their bench. They're all pretty decent.

  2. It’s fun to watch them win for stretches like this, but I hope they still make some trades. Nobody thinks this core is going to win a chip and that is the goal. Anyone outside of Markkanen and Kessler should be on the table.

  3. Not sure what’s up with their front office. Just build around Markkanen. They will not get anyone better in the draft.

  4. Really hope Jazz front office recognizes chemistry team is playing with and just rolls with this roster. I wasn't so sure first month of the season, but Hardy has really figured out the lineups/rotations, playing 10 guys a night, and running teams off the floor in the second half.

Like so many teams, their success relies on three point shooting – and they got 5+ guys who shoot a good %. Besides the winning, the Jazz play very entertaining basketball, and it would be unfortunate if they ruined the chemistry with a series of in-season trades.

  5. I’m glad you pointed out Sextons value, I think that dude has some serious potential and is very under appreciated.

  6. This is it! When you have players respecting and hugging each other's talent, they become super soldiers inside the court…. unbeatable.inside out is every coach challenge and goal. And for Utah, this is it!

  7. Having a consistent 20-plus guy off the bench is a huge factor for their winning streak. Now that JC is finally finding the balance and understanding of when to score and when to create for others, the sky is the limit for him and the Jazz. If he continues with this level of play throughout his remaining playing years, he might become the next Manu Ginobili.

  8. a very well-written commentary. i can see you researched the team not like some blubber heads who just talked nonsense.

  9. I don't think the Jazz are a championship team yet but the rookies looking good the draft capitol we have I'm very optimistic
