“From people I’ve spoken with, the Hawks are asking for two firsts in return for Murray, who would prefer to join a team with a chance to make an immediate playoff run. So far, no one has met their demands.”

That’s really not surprising. He got sent for 3 frp and a swap. His value has dipped considerably, but they are still going to try and recoup some of what they lost

Well DFS is worth at least one. Add in a lotto protected PHX ‘25 first rounder? Too steep a price?

    Give them two picks

2026 76ers and 2025 Suns (or 2030 Nets pick with actual protections Top 10 let’s not be stupid like we were the last two times).

Give them Spencer, he would be. Great back up for Trae.

Murray lines up with Bridges, similar amount of years too.

Picks are pretty valuable on our team. Marks is a great drafter.

One could argue DFS is worth 2 FRP… so… DFS for Murray straight up???

Outside of the Knicks, I dont see any team willing / able to give up 2 1st-rounders for DeJounte Murray.

Only way I’d do it is if Bogdanovic comes back this way with Murray, and even then it would be the 2025 PHX (and I would protect it top 8) and the 2027 PHI.

Dinwiddie + DFS will go back the other way. They can shop DFS for another 1st before the deadline.

Can’t say I blame Atlanta for trying tho.

Trade DFS or Royce for a first, use a first from that trade plus one of our own for Murray. Sounds good to me.

We value DFS at two firsts and rightfully so. The team that’s trading for him is a contender and DFS is worth more than just pick 28. With that said, a 3-teamer that sends Atlanta two late firsts from a contender and us Murray could work.
