Back to back no Chris uh guys coming in play well know we talking about campaign before staying ready did a great job coming in AJ was good uh those guys off the bench um yeah man ter terrific win you know got gritty uh tough against a

Very good team so um a lot to be happy about uh can you just take us through kind of that final sequence with Dame the thought to instead of an into him have him inbounding stting at it so that’s uh kind of one of the plays that

You know we want Dame inbounding the ball you know touch it it you know they uh usually they don’t deny like that like they were denying Giannis the ball and I thought it was just a Hy headup play by Brooke to to flash the play was designed to to hit Giannis

First and get the hand back and Brooke to set the screen at half court for for Dame uh but they were you you know denying Giannis so uh Brook man heads up play uh you know that was the play of the game so Dame hits uh Brooke and gets

A hand back and you know the rest is history I mean it was um man it was like we had the game and they stole it from us and then you know we took it back at the end um I I think you guys go down

Six to open up overtime um can you just speak to the team’s resilience to maybe not pack it in there you mentioned yeah we listen we um you know we had some really good looks uh prior to that you know PC had an open look and then ends up hitting one of the

Biggest shots uh uh Brooke hit a big three uh but I think um prior to that I think bees you know down the stretch had a great look PC had a great look and they just didn’t fall but we didn’t hang you know that um you know it went up six

It was easy for us to throw in the tole especially after back toback but those guys are are resilient so uh really good team effort uh probably one of our best wins of of the season um couple questions about the end of regulation um you guys end up deciding to follow up up

Three with 10.2 seconds I think it is um just take me through that well just you know we we didn’t foul against Chicago we had we were up three so we just made it our Rule and that’s our Rule and we sticking to it you know we were up um

Some hard rules um you know we can let a little time you know Fox was at probably a little further from the three-point line but we didn’t want to take any chances of of them just you know eluding us and getting a three up so we said hey this

Is what we’re going to do we just we we stick to it together all the coaching staff was in agreement the players were in agreement so um I do that again 10 times out of 10 we’re up three we you know we foul and um you know

We we Lu out on this one as far as uh you know being down six but you those guys uh kept fighting and and found a way to win uh and then late you guys inbound to Giannis twice um just kind of what were you guys looking for who

You’re trying to find there for the free throws late to seal it yeah so the inbounding um you know first time we got it to to Dame and then if we can’t get it to Dame you know we put Giannis in the back so we have we have outlet and Giannis has

Made his free throws if you go back he’s made all of his free throws uh he’s not the only one that missed you know Sacramento missed one big one at the end so um but I have complete confidence with with Giannis and and end of the game free throw he’s been tremendous

He’s been great uh and if anybody uh doesn’t think so go back and you know watch the film and watch the games and and you tell me and he made a couple big ones too um I know he missed one at the end but he’s he’s made uh some really

Big free throws uh for us and that’s something he takes pride in and I have complete confidence because I know how hard he works on his game I know how hard he works on his three-point shot and the free throws and when I see a Player working as hard as Giannis works

I I have no problem with them taking those shots cuz I know he works at it and I’ll I’ll do it a 100 times over you know Giannis is a champion he’s U two-time MVP he has that NBA uh Championship DNA in him and you know I’m I’m rolling with

Him back to your gamewinner by Damen Lillard um you have a lot of options there I know there were only like 5 seconds left but you could have gone to Beasley or brook or Giannis down low and go for the n one did he ask for that

Play or did you no I drew that up in in timeouts we only I wasn’t expecting it to be 5 Seconds um I think it was like 91 seconds they threw it in to ideally we wanted to foul I thought we you know the plan was to foul sabonis and I

Thought we fouled him a couple times but you know they didn’t call it and so the shot clock or the game clock went down to around 5 Seconds we end up getting a foul but that was the play uh for Dame to take it out you know get a touch pass

And get it back and then you you know have a lot of room to operate and so again Brooke made a a really intelligent play I mean he’s super super intelligent player winning player he makes winning plays and this was a total total team effort you know this again this is uh

One of the better gratifying wins because it was off back to back we were short-handed and we were down and we didn’t give up Malik Beasley he had a good shooting night what did you see from him you know believe um be uh he’s having a phenomenal year if you look at

What he’s shooting almost 48% from the three you know he’s Elite at what he does and you know I’m happy for a guy like the him and it it hasn’t been um a easy role for him as far as sometimes I I have him on the toughest player on the

Other side and he’s taking the toughest Challenge and he’s doing the best he can he holds it down and uh it’s someone that Giannis and Dame and all those guys they trust bees on the floor and they look for them and we have to even do a

Better better job of getting him some more looks because he’s just shooting the B the ball at a high clip and um this this type these type of games bring our team even closer and I thought the last two games we we’re starting to find identity um how hard we have to

Compete I went Zone a lot of this game one because was back to back and I wanted um to conserve our legs a little bit but two you know they run their offense with so much Pace a lot of cutting and then it ends up in sabonis

Hands anyway so I thought the best thing would just get our defense set keep Brooke at the rim and Brook Brooke was phenomenal you know he uh altered a lot of shots um we were able to keep the three out uh for most of the game but they they did

Get loose at toward the end and that’s how they got back in the game but overall I thought you know we played a really tough uh smart game [Applause] tonight
