  1. Thunder want to wait until the postseason to see if they lack size issues then address it, not during the regular season. Also free Wiggs. I just want to watch that mf ball out even if it’s for another team. Fans deserve to watch his talents.

  2. tokingcircle

Well damn. Losing to the Lakers has a special type of sting to it.

  3. Shai looked slow there, if he’s injured it’s better to let him rest and heal.

Really bad guard minutes from Cason and Joe, but of course Mark didn’t give Wiggs minutes. I think Dieng had a productive game, if he gains confidence by playing consistent minutes, he’ll be better.

And we really need an interior defender, Lakers are in a bad position but they still beat us 2 in a row.

  4. 12footjumpshot

This team could use an athletic 6’9+ power forward

We have noone that can stop lebron. Dorts better at guarding finesse players not these brute force guys. Also they kept jumping in our passing lanes all night, something i havent seen many teams run to stop our 5-out. It was interesting how shai really came to the top of the key and struggled with the three defenders waiting to pounce. Need to be more careful there

  6. Iamkonkerz

I have a lakers fan as a friend and we always watch games together when we face off, so you can imagine how infuriating it is to talk about how good our team is on both the offensive and defensive end, only to watch whatever the fuck this is, and get clowned on lmao

  7. Headlesshorsman02

Is what it is lads, we don’t matchup great with the lakers since AD takes away the paint making us shoot too many 3s when we live off of driving to the basket. Shit happens, on to the next game 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

  8. Should’ve let SGA rest. The rest of this roadtrip is gonna be tough.

  9. Adventurous-Ad3545

This what I’m sayin Lauri is perfect for this team. We lacking size. Giddy and fillers plus bunch of 1st round picks would do the trick. We’ll be favorites.

  10. lmaoooyikes

Our bench is way too inconsistent and lacks interior defense, we need to play Wiggins more and trade for a backup big

JWill and Kenrich at the 5 aren’t cutting it against teams with solid bigs

  11. Big_Lou1108

Did not get the chance to watch the game, was reading the play by play and I’m getting the impression that the team did not have much success defending lakers’ pick&roll?

But in any case gotta learn from this and make necessary adjustments. Hopefully the team does better in the upcoming games.

  12. thro14away

For all our guard/wing depth, there’s still 15 minutes for the taking out there for either a backup big or a forward with size. A contending team goes out and grabs both, but one would be a step in the right direction.

  13. BBallHunter

Shit, is a veteran big as backup too much to ask?

  14. It was extremely stupid to have our smallest 3 players on the court at the same time.

Watching Shai limping through the court the whole game was very concerning and he should have not played after Q1.

JDub sitting till the last 90 seconds of the game while we were trying to come back was insane.

    No Wiggins minutes?

    I really don’t understand Mark.

  15. MorphinMajor

Bad game overall, didn’t play to our identity and never felt like the team had any energy. Would’ve preferred Shai sit this one out, very clear he isn’t fully healthy given how unusually disengaged he looks on defense and just lacking that extra gear on offense tonight.

    General Notes:

    – Shooting slump continues for this team. Lack of size forces us to take more shots rather than attack the paint, not being to convert at a high mark when more than half the shots we took tonight were 3s is not gonna result in a victory.

    – Lakers are a poor matchup for us due to their size and their physicality tonight just led to a ton of uncharacteristic turnovers at the worst time. Would be a little bit concerned if we matched up against them hypothetically in a round 1 matchup. Really believe we need to make a move to fix our lack of depth at big man. Can’t be playing undersized against AD and LeBron.

    – One of our worst third quarters in a while, due to lazy passing that led to easy fast break points and dumb fouls that lead to and-1s. Really frustrating to watch a dumb mistake as soon as it appears we’re gonna make a run.

    – Assuming we’re saving Wiggins for against the Clippers but his lack of minutes when we actually could’ve used his consistent play tonight is puzzling.

    – Isaiah Joe was not great tonight. Unable to hit 3s, uncontested jump shots way off at times, silly mistakes that led to Lakers fast-break and killed any impending momentum for a comeback. When he’s not hitting his shots, there is not a ton of value he brings to the floor in a matchup against a physical team like the Lakers, felt like he should’ve been taken out way earlier. Didn’t help that Cason wasn’t great either.

    – JDub the only player tonight that brought the energy the entire way. Great game by him overall. Not a bad game from Dort either.

Not gonna overreact to this game, dry shooting spell won’t last forever. Turnovers were ultimately what killed us the most tonight and we have to just be smarter with the ball and not be lazy with our passes. Again though, I would prefer to see a move made to improve our size issues to help compensate when we have poor shooting nights like this.

  16. PurrySquishyKittens

America was already feasting with a cowboys and eagles loss so unfortunately, evil prevailed tonight in LA

  17. Brilliant-Hornet103

You guys need to chill out in the comments. We did good on defense. We just got unlucky and missed 35 3 pointers in one game. You make 5 more of them and we win. That’s with Shai playing hurt, giddey doing nothing. 5 3s.

  18. Can easily tell the major hurdle for this group to overcome in the postseason is zone defense.
