No reason why Prince played more minutes and started over Vando tonight. Vanderbilts’ impact on the game was noticeable from the moment he checked in.

  1. Prince played 30 while rui only got 20 and vando 18. Unbelievable.

  2. SGA had a tough time on vando but completely ate up prince (as many players do).

With dlo and austin out there thats adequate shooting for ad and bron.

He’s finally getting healthy, and earlier than I thought! I’m ecstatic.

Ham making bad coaching decisions? lol no way

  5. One-Strawberry2725

Ham did pretty good today, and ran plays for everybody’s skillset. But that just goes to show that he’s been the problem the entire time. There are no trades that will help us.

Love Vando playing like this though, happy for him (and us lol). Hoping the coaching staff sees the impact and gives him more minutes. He has had a good past couple games.

  7. ProblematicAndCrazy

But some Very Smart Laker Fans have been telling me that Vando sucks! What’s the deal???

  8. Consistent_Owl4593

I feel like Ham wants Vando to just be an energy guy for some reason

  9. Apprehensive-Law2435

everytime i felt there was someone open vando always appears ina millisecond and contest he single handedly makes up for a couple defensive mistakes a game

  10. Vexing_Pie

In the regular season, Vando over Prince makes perfect sense. No one is paying attention that much to see he’s an offensive liability.

  11. Rui was getting a hot hand and then proceeds to get benched for the rest of the game…

  12. KingNephew

I hate to sound like I’m hating on Prince cause it’s really not his fault Ham plays him 30mpg no matter what. But this guy might actually have to get traded so Ham doesn’t play him 1.5-2x the minutes of what he’s supposed to play.

Defense isn’t even an excuse because Rui/Wood aren’t any worse than Prince defensively. And Vando’s impact is beyond the box score when healthy.

*Prince 30 min played: 3/2/3 on 1-6 shooting

*Rui 20 min played: 12/3 with 2 blocks on 5-8 shooting

*Wood 13 min played: 13/7 with 3 blocks on 4-7 shooting

  13. Away_Economist_1052

Did Prince had Ham’s naked photos?
Why Prince always get 30 minutes up?

  14. PigsOnTheWings

Amen. Vando defensive energy trumps anything we get from Prince, which was Jack shit tonight.

  15. Turbulent_Slice1222

Still don’t get the obsession with hating on prince guy has been solid just needs to play a little less minutes. Guys been consistent from 3 and passable on defense. Just had a bad game tonight

  16. Rui might still be in restriction….lakers line should rotate depending on player performance and opponents

  17. davensdad

Fuck Ham for giving heavy minutes to Prince over Rui and Vando wtf

  18. Well, there’s a reason, but whether it’s valid or not is questionable. He’s starting Prince over Vando for the shooting. I’m not even a huge Rui fan, but why not start Rui over Prince? I like Vando’s energy, but he does create a spacing issue.

But either way, Prince needs to be relegated to the bench. Ham is just…. … …

  19. BlancThumper13

Vando should be a full time starter tho, he fits so well next to

  20. Low_Sign5589

Prince and Ham played together in Hawks. That’s the reason

  21. WargreymonIsCool

I mean in terms of what they offer and the big picture… Both players are separated by what, a point?

Prince gives you mediocre shooting, decent ball defense, and… intangibles?

Vanderbilt gives you pretty good defense in all sectors but is one of the most unskilled offensive players since 2000

  22. Neither-Addendum-368

Prince 31 mins should be cut to 16 min and give rui 8 of those mins to put him at 28 mins per game and give vando 7 of those mins to have him at 25 mins per game so in total it should be rui 28, vando 25, prince 16 mins

  23. Uh isn’t this sub always complaining about the horrible roster construction, that “everyone knows you surround LeBron with shooters”. Prince is our best 3pt shooter and LeBron played the most minutes so naturally Prince starts and plays more minutes.

Bunch of flip floppers on this sub, every night it’s something new to fit your hate on Ham narrative. The worst part is we won and played well!!??

Vando still recovering but rui no reason unless he bout to get shipped out of here
