Joe Mazzulla says Jrue Holiday is progressing through an adjustment period just like Derrick White did when he first got to Boston. “You can see [Jrue] getting more comfortable and comfortable on both ends of the floor.”
I agree. I was saying in the game thread that I hope this reflects a trend of him really finding his role out there offensively. I also wonder if his marching orders were different tonight with JB out, though. Did he get more of a greenlight? That part remains to be seen I guess, but either way, GREAT game from Jrue.

I think part of it for Jrue is more so the offensive comfort than defensive. He’s been lights out from the corner 3 which we should use more imo

His efficiency has been fine, though. White shot pretty bad his first season in Boston.

he’s so different from Milwaukee Jrue who was the uncontested second option with an injured Middleton.
can’t wait for Jrue to figure it out even more – I haven’t seen enough of that Marcus Smart DPOY level defensive monster play yet
