Yeah no shit. We can get much better than a half year rental for who we are shopping. There are much better fits out there than him. Also this increases the odds that Myles Turner could be traded.

most NBA fans who have more knowledge about future preferences for siakam have thought the two teams siakam would re-sign or sign with in the offseason would be either the pacers or sixers as both have the cap space for a max extension after this season

If that’s the asking price to be met for a rental, then it’s better to let this one go. Pacers must be willing to pay him the max and have high confidence that Siakam will take their offer (vs accepting a max from any other willing suitors in the summer).
Yall trippin and valuing picks way too high. The Pacers are solid, those picks are going to be trash. And even if the picks are decent, there’s a good chance they don’t amount to anything. The Warriors just had 3 lottery picks and fumbled them all (Wiseman is a bust, Kuminga is unhappy and not getting the minutes he deserves, Moody gets DNPs multiple games at a time).

If the Pacers are really offering 3 FRPs, the Raptors should take that deal. I like Siakam, but not enough to beat that offer when he’s been clear that he wants to explore his options in free agency this offseason.

Thank god. Warriros told them no deal on Kuminga. Can’t trade Wiggins at worse value and can’t trade Kuminga on rookie deal. Just doesn’t make sense. Have to wait to get off Klay and cp3 contracts for flexibility. It’s not pretty but that’s the move.
