Jamal Murray proves in the playoffs that he is not only an All Star but All NBA. Regular season. Who cares. He is a Denver Nugget!!!
why tf do the whole team, from coaching staff to players, radiate timid sde against the bumass sixers of all teams. so fucking annoying like y’all are the reigning champs stand tf up my god
Jok just needs to play every night like he’s playing Jonas Valančiūnas
I really really want us to be the ones to hand Boston rheir first L at home, that would wipe away this 4th quarter stinker completely.
Genuinely so frustrated we collapsed like that. Goddamnit
Anyone else feel like Reggie Jackson was our third best player? Wish he got that foul where Embiid tackled him
I swear this like at least the 3rd time this season that we’ve coughed up a winnable game after a Thunder/Wolves loss. We are missing on those chances to reel them in.
ngl, it’s been awesome having the privilege of the “ring check” clapback for moments like this. Sure, it’s petty, but you can’t deny it’s effectivity.
I felt like shit last year, but after winning the championship, I’ve gotten a lot more level-headed dealing with regular season losses.
Jamal will never beat his regular season allegations I’m afraid lol dude was gassed in the second quarter.. against a team on the second of a b2b lmao
rest excuses in this thread are wild. embiid just came back from a 2 week injury and put two 40 pieces b2b.
sometimes u just gotta tip ur hat and move on.
I love AG, but him dribbling the ball off his foot in that one possession sent me.
This Murray half issue isn’t even just the regular season he does it in the playoffs to. He was ass basically all game and then finally turned on in the 4th game 2 against the Lakers. He was on fire and couldn’t miss in the 1st half game 3 against the Lakers and then didn’t do shit the entire second half.
It’s just so frustrating because when he’s on he’s on and there is nobody better than him. When he’s off though he is a complete liability on all facets of the court.
Bro it’s hard to explain the depths of my alcoholism. The first time I spent time in jail, I was 16 year old. And it was in Mexico. I spent 2 stints in Mexican jail on that trip. None of my family even knew abut the first stint. But let me fucking tell you, walking through Mexico with no shoelaces, and finding a fucking taco stand… The best meal of my life bar none. I ordered extra hot sauce. Then grabbed a glass bottle pepsi on my way out. Fucking pure bliss.
This ain’t my first rodeo lol
And If I have to do months for the DUI charge, I plan on helping people and bringing books out. Like the “12 and 12” and “Living Sober” plus I’ll be able to beat all their asses at chess anc spades.
u/skurkles knows that I can ride with the hardest of the hard, and even be a teacher to them.
I’d still rather not do the the time though hahahahah That shit effing stinks :/
Hate to say it but jamal cost us today.
Stats won’t tell you but Jokic was matching embiid until the 4th. We were up 8 and he was gobbling up offensive rebounds and keeping us in the game single handedly after everyone else went missing.
Then bench comes in completely ruins it all and lead is lost. Fucking Harris goes off.
When starters are back 4 mistakes in 4 straight possessions from murray/ag.
Fun game until late game execution.
I’m going to sound like a hater but it’s clear why embiid doesn’t succeed in the playoffs. Not a single post move and barely any points in the paint, just mid range shots, when he hits them nothing you can do, he doesn’t do that in the same rate in the playoffs though while Jokic cooked him every time in the post, for a big guy he’s just so weak and got bullied so easily.
Suns down 20 at home with “big 3” playing
Good game can’t be upset
Some brutal possessions there in the back half of the fourth
I just want dudes that we try to develop, and it’s sustainable,” Booth said. “If it costs us the chance to win a championship this year, so be it. It’s worth the investment. It’s more about winning three out of six, three out of seven, four out of eight than it is about trying to go back-to-back.”
Another game decided by the refs, jokic and embiid were not treated equaly.
Guys Regular season Murray or Playoff Embiid?
I can’t wait for the copypasta material I saved for the daily tomorrow 🥰
Kinda the only two serious comments I have about this game.
I didn’t like getting Jokic off Embiid defensively. Gordon is a great defender and he honestly did really well against him all things considered. But I’d rather just trust Jokic and let him go at it. I trust that in the event of a finals matchup we’d perform and execute better, but I’m still not a fan of having Jokic play as a roamer kind of guy. Also our doubling was all over the place tonight. It made sense we struggled cause we’re not usually a team that doubles and we also had that thing with the plane yesterday so we probably didn’t have much practice on it. I also think there’s probably the element of not wanting to have Jokic on Embiid whole game to not tire him out (and cause it’s honestly not worth it in the regular season) so in a potential finals matchup I think it’s something we’d be more willing to do.
The other thing is that the only issue I have with the roster right now is how few ball handlers we have on the team. Like I wouldn’t say it’s that big of a deal, and it’s not like we can just go get another guy like that at the moment. But I think games like these where you got teams pressuring Jamal and Jokic a lot, we are definitely gonna miss Bruce Brown and where it would help a lot having that kind of player. It was same later in the Miami series during the playoffs, where Bruce would kinda take over in the clutch cause all of the focus is in pressuring Jamal and Jokic. Regi can kinda do that I guess but it’s just really a very awkward fit if you try to substitute KCP or MPJ out for him later in the game. Again I don’t think it’s something we can solve right now so we’re just gonna have play through it for now.
Look, if you keep turning it over and you can’t hit your buckets down the stretch in a close game, then you are going to lose against a good team. Nuggets need to executive better when they are facing other contenders.
help me fcking understand for the love of god.
how is it possible for trash embiid to shoot , 17 or 18 of them OUTSIDE of the paint yet he ends up shooting 15 free throws like its nothing.
while jokic bleeds his way into the paint for 14 out of his 20 shots and ends up barely shooting 4 of them bitches. wtf? how is that even possible? am i just too stupid to understand flo.. basketball?
Ah so many 4Q bad plays and turnovers replaying in my head rn.
AG dribble bonanza off his foot
Jamal throwing the ball at Jokic’s legs
Jokic passing too hard on someone’s cut
Jamal low shot clock drive into traffic and getting obliterated by Batum
AG passing to Braun inside too hard
That one Braun airballed 3.
Another airball 3 by either Reggie or KCP i forgot
Reggie driving into a packed paint and stripped
aghh
2029 1st, Braun, and bunch of seconds would’ve gave them very good chance at Caruso
Shame on you Kroenke.
Good loss. Shit the bed. Gimme 7 games of this directly in my eyeballs.
Good loss. Even tho my favourite player shit the bed. Gimme 7 games of this directly in my eyeballs.
Ready to end it all
Also I guess at this point nobody cares and it’s like talking to a wall, but I really don’t get the “jamal hero ball bro!!!” comments today. Bro had 10 assists to 2 turnovers and was pretty much the only guy doing any sort of half court playmaking today. And yeah he got hounded by Pat Bev in the 4th but it was really a complete team meltdown. Which, you know, it’s fine, it’s gonna happen sometimes, especially against good teams on the road.
Rats. Hard for them to win in Philly.
I can’t fault Malone too much because you play against Embiid only once a season but man was the defensive plan atrocious today.
If the 79pts at half wasn’t bad enough the fact that you allowed 56% from the field and 48% from 3 should just make you ineligible to win cause thats just disgusting defense lmao. Jokic is simply terrible at help and recovery and AG was letting Embiid shoot anyways so it literally made no sense to make this change. To make it worse Malone saw it not work in the first half and stuck to it.
Hopefully Embiid plays in Denver to see the adjustments Malone makes.
Still stand by my statement that we have only 1 win against a good and healthy team this season which was the Pels the other day. And our starting 5 has the most minutes (485 before tonight) in the league this season so injuries are no excuse for us not beating top teams.
Kroenke has built two powerhouse teams from the ground up by being patient and building his teams the right way. Not sure how anyone can complain about ownership when both of those teams are loaded and ownership has let smart people do their jobs.
That little stretch of TO’s killed us after a super clean game up to that point. Sixers ratcheted up the intensity defensively in the 4th and we didn’t adjust quickly enough.
Snagged one of those moral victories though by ending the Embiid streak!
