I’ll use this a platform for a quick PSA. We aren’t waiting until the last minute because we are thrift shopping. You want to avoid multi team trades of assets that could fuck you later on. If we go full stack on something and trade JK, I really don’t want to see him on the lakers/OKC/whatever. So teams wait to avoid an early trade to a team that can multiple dealings.
