At home it’s hard to do oh yep yeah uh seven and0 that’s that’s right well I mean you guys won so many great games surely you didn’t lose to the Memphis grizzli without John marant and jiren Jackson Jr right surely you didn’t lose that one uh did we lose I’m having a I’m

Having a hard time remembering oh okay I mean surely you guys didn’t lose to the Pelicans who are arresting four of their five starters on the second night of a back toback right I mean surely you guys won that game um well uh Define winning

Oh God because in a lot of ways we did win we’re playing basketball with our friends you know we won at life so when you look at it that way it’s really hard to ever say what the Dallas Mavericks beat the mostly healthy New Orleans Pelicans 125 to 120 ending a hilarious

Seven game home stand that just exemplifies how hilarious of a team this Dallas Mavericks team is 5-2 on a very important seven game home stand including some pretty impressive wins against the Minnesota Timberwolves against the Knicks who had a five-game winning streak going into the game against a fully healthy Pelicans team

That’s been really good over the past month but those wins got sandwiched in between some horrible losses including a 20-point blowout loss to the very shorthanded Memphis Grizzlies and a loss to the Pelicans despite the fact that the Pelicans are wrestling four of their five starters so to uh say this season

Has been roller coaster for the Mavericks is I think putting it lightly but they do have high highs including wins like this one against the Pelicans where Kyrie Irving goes absolutely crazy 42 points Tim Hardway Jr 41 points it’s only the second time in Mavs history that teammates have combined to score 40

Or more points each Kyrie Irving he’s averaging 37 and a half points per game over his last five games that’s only the third time in his Hall of Fame career that he has averaged that many points in a five-game stretch he’s playing he’s probably not going to make the All-Star

Game because he’s missed too many games but he’s playing like he should be an all allar he’s playing better than Stephen Curry I don’t care Tim Hardway Jr has another great game I mean there there’s some crazy stats with Tim Hardway Jr a stat that I’m about to show

You that you you’ll hear and you’ll be like well yeah when teams make shots they win games but it just really exemplifies who Tim is as a player and who this Mavericks team is that they’re so dependent on jump shooting but the Mavericks are 18- six this season when

Tim hits three or more threes 18- six that’s that’s an over 60 win Pace they are six and 11 in games where he either doesn’t play or does not hit 33 so for all of the flag Tim Hardway Jr gets he’s been very good for the Mavericks this

Season and he is very important for what they want to do this is a jump shooting team that likes to score a lot of points and if Tim Hardway jior is going they’re going to be a very difficult team to beat this was a great win for the

Mavericks an improbable win for the Mavericks it looked like they had no chance to win this game they won the first quarter by 16 points but then it was just an onslaught from the Pelicans from that point forward they scored 40 plus points in the second quarter 40

Plus points in the third quarter the Mavericks found themselves down double digits at one point and it just felt like an insurmountable hole to climb out of and yet they pulled it out with some clutch plays down the stretch Tim Hardway Jr man nine threes in this game

When he gets going it’s shots so when they go up you’re like what on Earth wow what a player you literally go what on Earth how is he so good but in midair it’s what on Earth is this guy thinking but then he goes in and he goes what on
